I met Lennie in Arusha, Tanzania in 2008 when I was doing research for my thesis in Geography about the safari industry in Northern Tanzania. Lennie was not only a source of highly treasured information about the safari business in Africa - but also became a really good friend. We soon discovered that we where sharing lots of commen interest like music, travelling, historie, bicycles and vintage cars. I give Lennie my highly recommendations.
Lennie is one happy guy, Always positive and in a good mood. I can only highly recommend him as a host, especially in Tanzania as it's his second home after having lived there for many, many years. He's very reliable and trustworthy and nobody knows Tanzania and Africa the way he does.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Lennie for many years and I give my warmest recommendations to Lennie. He is a warm, trustworthy, loving person. I am sure that he will do anything to make your stay as good as possible. He has a great knowlegde of the local area and Im sure that he knows all the best places and how to get there. He will assist you with any questions you might have. I would not hesitate to stay at his place.
I met Lennie more than 10 years, when I was about to go to Uganda for at work assignment. The reason that we met was that he also was going to work - not in Uganda but Tanzania. We have stayed in contact through e-mails and social medie. Lennie is a really nice guy. He has one foot in Denmark - another in Tanzania. For everyone that plan to go to Africa he will be a very fruitfull acquaintance.
It doesn´t get more peaceful than this. I arrived after a long journey starting in Bangkok and I was amazed by the scenery surrounding this place. If you are looking for a place with absolute tranquility and a bounty beach kissing the porch, you got it all here. Take a five minute walk on the beach and experience the fishermen doing what they have been doing for centuries. Very local. You won´t be disturbed here, that is for sure. Clean and comfortable with mosquito nets. I'm definitely coming back
