I have lived on Wall Street since 1996 and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Vancouver Magazine devoted an entire page to Wall Street, coining it "Vancouver's Best Kept Secret". It is private and quiet but ideally situated--close to downtown and just a minute from the highway (can't see or hear) going east or west to Whistler.
Bus stop is two blocks away and grocery stores, restaurants within short walk.
Please note only one bathroom, so not suitable for more than four people.
After long days at the Truth and Reconciliation Event, we came 'home' to Jane's place ~ to a warm, clean, and cozy place of rest! The view of the harbour and the activities and lights of the ships were a treat to observe. The quiet surprised us and the fresh tomatoes to eat straight off the vine were an added bonus. The easy access to both the downtown and the North Shore was another benefit. The notes you left about the neighbourhood and amenities were helpful as were all our communications with you. Thank you Jane! See you again...
Jane's is a gorgeous place; spacious, fun decor and a great view. She made sure we were completely comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home, even giving us free reign in her top notch kitchen and vegetable garden.
The neighborhood is peaceful but still an easy distance to downtown. The downstairs neighbors are also quite low-key with a curious Weimareiner hound who made a daily appearance once he smelled food.
We'd definitely stay here again.
After a long day in the downtown, for us, Jane's house was a coming home to a really lovely and cosy place. Relaxing, with a glass of wine and the view over the water or having the breakfast at the deck to the gardenside. Simply Great!
The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and we really enjoyed it. We know Jane as very helpful and uncomplicated. Alltogether an absolute positive stay for us! ...and hopefully we can repeat this some day.
It's a place of someone who is living the life.
