It is easy to reach the apartment by car and your own, free parking space is right at the building (on demand).
You can reach the following stations on foot within 2-5 minutes: U2 Märkisches Museum (direct connection to Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz).
S Jannowitzbrücke (direct connection to Hauptbahnhof, Friedrichstrasse, Ostbahnhof, Hackescher Markt).

  • We had a great time here. The hosts are wonderful, they check in with you before the trip to make sure everything is OK, they are really great communicators and make everything easy.

    The apartment is nicely located right next to the U-Bahn. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and clubs right next to it.

    We felt like the pictures portray the apartment to be somewhat more modern than it actually was. Nonetheless, we had everything we needed!

  • I booked this apartment for my parents so I can only say what they told me: Very good communication from the host, very professional and sharp. Apartment was clean and tidy, but very modest / simple in its appearance. A few more sources of indirect light would already do the trick. Location is truly central, so if that's the most important for you this is perfect.

  • We had a great stay at the 'Great home' apartment. We were kindly let in by Evelyne who had waited for us considering our delay on getting to the apartment by the set time (we had issues with transport!). We had a tour of the apartment and settled in well. The apartment itself is nice a spacious and perfect for a group for a short getaway. The block is located very close to Heinrich-Heine U-bahn and there are many shops for grocery in the area. You also get great views on the radio tower at Alexandre platz. Someone from the team is available for any queries at all times of the day (telephone numbers are provided). We definitely recommend this place for anyone to stay and we are already planning our next trip to Berlin with this property as our number 1 choice! Thanks again.

  • Three of us stayed in Ben + Team's Apt. 1 on a business trip to Berlin. The apartment is tidy and spacious, furnished straightforwardly in Ikea, and was a good size for 3 coworkers (with 3 separate bedrooms). The internet connection was problematic at some points, but I think it was the broadband provider; Ben + Team were certainly responsive, sending someone out to check it. The apartment layout has two bedrooms with double beds on the left side of the entry corridor; the bathroom (complete with hair dryer and towels) is straight ahead; to the right there's a living room with couch, TV and dining table (6 seats), kitchen nook with toaster and kettle, and on the far side a third bedroom with two single beds.

    The elevator was working fine when we went (November 2013); it only stops at every third floor, so you have to walk up one flight from the 6th floor, which was fine. We were provided with two keys and nice laminated maps showing nearby shopping on the wall. The apartment is right next to the Heinrich-Heine-Strasse U-Bahn and a short walk (or U-Bahn ride) from the Jannowitzbrücke U & S-Bahn station. The local coffee and dining is undistinguished, but if you walk south 10 min or hop on the U8 towards Oranienstrasse, you can find more interesting fare.

    All in all, we were very happy with our stay, and would certainly stay there again on a business trip (perhaps with a backup plan for internet when we needed to work online). Ben + Team's hosting was friendly and responsive, and I would happily stay at other properties managed by them.

  • The apartment was clean and nearly everything worked as it should. The apartment was pretty cold on the first night, but on the second day it was already nice and comfy as the heating started to heat up the place.
    The public transport works great and there is a U-station nearby that has an elevator so it was easy to go with a stroller. I would recommend this place to any traveler that does not require any luxus :)

  • Wir haben zu sechst dieses Appartement gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Sauber, alles war da und es gab wirklich gute Betten. Das Team hat uns vorab gut informiert.
    Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und U-Bahn waren gleich um die Ecke, S-Bahn auch schnell zu erreichen. Wir waren viel zu Fuß unterwegs, 30 Minuten bis Unter den Linden, an einem Seitenarm der Spree entlang, wirklich schön.

  • The apartment was new and clean and very comfortable. It has a nice view over the rooftops. The key pickup went well and you just lock the key in when you leave.
    The only problem was that the lift in the building didn't work and had been out of use for a couple of weeks. This meant that 10 stories was a long way up and down even without luggage. If the lift works there is nothing to complain about.

  • Very friendly and flexible for check in. Close to supermarket and subway station. Walking distance to Alexander Platz, where you can shop, transport to airport etc. Great place for group.
