The space
THE CABIN
Nestled on quiet, 80-acre Trapper Lake, our family cabin offers the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Just north of legendary Lake Namekagon, this peaceful retreat serves as the ideal basecamp for exploring some of Wisconsin's most celebrated recreation destinations.
We’ve spent two years updating this 75-year old gem, aiming to create a comfortable space to make memories with our favorite people. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking tools and we added a dishwasher. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a bonus room that contains RV-sized twin bunk beds sized for children or small adults.
There’s high-speed internet and you can log into your own streaming service subscriptions through the smart TV. There is little to no cell signal at the cabin, we recommend joining the wifi if you’d like to remain connected to the outside world :)
Cyclists! We've got you. There's covered bike parking and a permanent bike stand for your maintenance or bike-cleaning needs.
THE LAKE
You’ll have access to our private dock in the summer months. Note: there’s no public boat landing on Trapper Lake, but we have one on the property. The fishing is good! We’ve caught large-mouth bass, crappies, bluegill, northerns and perch right off the dock.
The lake has a nice sandy bottom for swimming. There's a canoe, an assortment of kayaks and water toys that you are welcome to use. There are child-sized life jackets available but we recommend bringing your own to ensure proper sizing.

Other things to note
Our neighbors are lovely and live on Trapper Lake year round. Please be respectful of their space and make sure all guests stay on our property.
Mosquitos love northern Wisconsin. They are usually not too bad near the cabin and the lake, but if you plan on spending time in the forest you will definitely want to plan on encountering them.
