This house is a 1941 pre-war Art Deco building that has been painstakingly restored into a stylish abode epitomizing a 'new luxury' that is smart, pared down and charming, while maintaining its old world quaintness.
We are located within the old district and walking distance to most historical sites, river cruise, cafes, restaurants,wet markets, museums, antiques shops, Churches, Temples and Mosques.

The space
On arrival, a 20 footer lap pool that lined with bougainvillea received you like a secret garden.
The master room is generous in size, stylish in details with the combination of contemporary and century old furnishing. Set within a backdrops of textured brick walls that traced by the Dutch history. The bathroom is enclave with rain shower and overlooking an oversize outdoor bathtub and the city eclectic skyline.
Within minutes of walk you set foot in midst of the city most vibrant streets market, Jonker Walk. And abandon of pre-war buildings that houses cafes and souvenir shops, accompany your journey out.
Uniquely in the moods of multi influence of Portuguese, Dutch, British, Peranakan Chinese, Indians and Malays will make a nostalgic stay.
The house has a master bedroom with king size bed on the first floor and an attic bedroom with 2 single bed . We can comfortably accommodates total 4 guests at any one time.
The master bedroom is with an attached shower and toilet.
The 2 single beds attic room is without toilet and shower. You can either share the bathroom/toilet on the first floor OR there is a hot shower and toilet on the ground floor next to the swimming pool.
As you enter the house, there is a dry pantry with a small fridge, a microwave, a nespresso coffee machine and kettle for tea making facility. We provide culteries, plates and bowls, wine and champagne glasses. There is no cooking facilities in the house.

You get exclusive use of the 2.5 storey pre-war house when booked to stay with us.
We are located walking distance to most of the historical sites, the Dutch Square, the Christ church, Indian and Cheng Hoon Teng chinese temple and the 1845 Kampung Kling Mosque, the Baba Nyonya musuem, St Paul hill and even the shopping malls. Cafes, Baba Nyonya restaurants , Art galleries, antique shops and little India can be reach by foot.
Bicycles rental are available at the convenience shop nearby at an affordable fee.

Other things to note
The famous Jonker Street is just around the corner. The Jonker Walk Night market that happens over the weekend from Fri - Sun (6pm-12MN) is a great place for local food and craft. During this time some of the streets will be converted to pedestrian walk.

The jetty for day or night river cruise along Melaka River is only 10-15 mins walk away. The boat tour will take 30 minutes.

We are opposite a bakery cafe called Eat at 18. Next door to a chinese vegeterian eatry and 5 mins from the river. There is also a Chinese Dim Sum Shop 3 minuets walk away that served breakfast. There are a number of local eatery that sell hawker food nearby.
The Mosque, Indian Temple and Chinese temple are less than 5 minutes walk away and so as the Melaka river.
