We are located in a unique pocket of downtown Madison, directly across from Brittingham Park, Monona Bay, Brittingham Boat Rental & a bike/walking/running path. We are a short walk from UW-Madison, Hospitals, State Street & the Capitol. You will love our welcoming neighborhood! We have a friendly dog, Bella, who stay upstairs with us, but you could see her wandering outside. We have been inspected and are licensed with the City of Madison. ZTRHP1-2020-00027.

The space
This space is perfect for a single person or couple working or visiting Madison. Our home was built in 1916. It is an arts & crafts style home that we have taken great pride in renovating over the last 15 years. We love our home and we hope you will too! You will have exclusive use of the entire garden level including a private bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a living room with a TV (Roku with Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Max and Netflix), a bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and a small kitchenette. The driveway parking spot is just ten steps from the back door for convenience! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate more than 2 people in this space. We also cannot accommodate young children as our dog is not young-child friendly. See below for our Pet Policy.

Our neighborhood is a hidden gem. It's a little pocket consisting of 4 streets right on Brittingham Park and Monona Bay. and truly a neighborhood where everyone knows your hand and talks with you)! A beautiful bike/walking/running path is directly across the street. We are directly across the street from Brittingham Boats (stand up paddleboard, kayak and canoe rental) which is open during the summer months. In the winter months you can ice fish, ice skate or cross-country ski on the bay and into Lake Monona (depending on the year). The possibilities are endless!

Pete and I share a passion for travel, delight in meeting and talking with new people, cherish the environment, adore animals (especially ours) and take pride in our home. We want those who are traveling to Madison to have a welcoming place to relax in and come home to after a day of exploring or an evening out on the town. Our daughter, Linnea, lives down the street and will be around the house at times. Our son is studying at UW-Milwaukee and is sometimes home during the summer and weekends. Occasionally, they will check in guests if Pete and I are busy. I work for the State of Wisconsin and Pete runs his own business renovating old homes. We look forward to sharing our space with you and learning more about you.
