Newly refurbished 1 double bedroom loft situated in a 16th century Florentine Palazzo, the only house designed by Raffaello according to critics. A great deal has been written about the architectural significance of this. Ths apartment is strategically located 15 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella Station, 5 minutes from Piazza del Duomo, and 2 minutes from Piazza San Marco and Piazza Santissima Anunziata, conveniently located with buses to train station from San Marco
This loft used to be the old porters house which has been completely refurbished. Windows overlook the charming gardening of palazzo Pandolfini. The kitchen has direct access to the garden itself.
The apartment has been renovated and is modernly furnished, equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, wi fi internet, TV.
The apartment has a access to the beautiful palace garden from the kitchen glass door perfect for drinking your cappuccino in the morning!
The Loft is the ideal place for both working days and for rental, because of its location within the historic center but away from the noisiest area. In addition, the windows overlook a private historic garden where you can relax during and after long days visiting museums. As close to secondary schools, restaurants and bars are cheaper than in the area of the cathedral. And in true Florentine streets, whether to ask a question

Allegra's flat in the Palazzo Pandolfini was great for our visit to Florence. It is close to the historic center but is quiet and faces onto a peaceful garden. The weather was unusually warm for October, but the flat was always pleasantly cool to return to. It was also lovely to be able to spread out & enjoy all the space & comfortable furniture. We took advantage of having a fully functional kitchen & prepared several dinners & breakfasts during our stay, as well as fixing a couple of picnic lunches to carry with us on bus trips to nearby towns.
The combination of the historic palazzo & the flat's modern furnishings reflect Florence itself, which is a fascinating mixture of the old & the new.
Allegra was easy to work with & very responsive during initial inquiry, booking, arrival, and departure.
Speedy Internet, washer/dryer, and kitchen were great features.
It was a wonderful experience. We love the localization.
The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable.Allegra welcomed us and guided us very well, she is an excellent host. We higly recommend this option.
The apartment is tastefully furnished with all necessary fittings and more, that allow for a very comfortable stay. There is nothing else one could need. There are fans, a toaster, drying racks, iron and full sized ironing board. Allegra was punctual and attentive and provided good advice on what to do and where to go. The apartment is a little removed from central Florence which provided great relief to the massive numbers of tourists in Florence over the first weekend in October.
We arrived at the loft in the late afternoon. Allegra was there to meet us, we communicated via text message which was very easy convenient. She showed us the loft, and welcomed us with bottles of water and and a bottle of wine. Which was very lovely after a long day of travel. The place was extremely clean and quite large, however a little dark due to being a loft.
The pictures are very accurate. The loft is about 15-20 minute walk from the city center, which can get a bit tiring after a long day but good to walk off all the wonderful food we had been eating. If you get a Florence Card museum pass you have free access to all the city buses. There are several stops right by the loft, this made it very convenient as well, towards the end of the stay we used the bus system at night. There is a cafe across the street which is quite good, we got morning coffee and pastries there, which is much cheaper than the city center.
The bed was very comfortable, it got a bit cold at night, so an extra blanket would have been nice but not necessary. I am sure during a winter stay that would be provided. The place does not have AC, which was in the ad, but we ended up not needing it anyway. (It recently broke.) It does have a washer, and hair dryer which is convenient but no clothes dryer. A large drying rack was there for us to use. The kitchen is fully stocked, we did not cook or use the kitchen but it was quite nice and would have been easy. There is a Nespresso machine which we used a few times in the morning, which was a nice treat.
Allegra checked on us via text message throughout our stay to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. She advised us on taxi and travel information when we needed it, and always responded quickly.
In all it was a great stay, spacious accommodations, very clean and Allegra was a wonderful host. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Florence.
I stayed here for about three weeks waiting to move into my new apartment in Florence. The apartment, has a traditional Florentine feel to it with a mix of modern furnishings. All of the ameinties are perfectly in order, it has a nice fully functional modern kitchen & a clean bathroom. It is also pretty quiet at night, because it has a very nice graden behind the apartment, which cuts down on the amount of street noise. There is a really nice aperitivo place right down the street. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and many other attractions. Even when not in Florence, Allegra was very hospitable and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay!!
This stylishly fully furnished apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable, with high standard kitchen and bathroom facilities. The rooms are a renovated space within a family palazzo so it has a special atmosphere that sets it apart from other accommodation options. I stayed here for over a month. It became my home from home while I was temporarily working in Florence, but it would be equally great for a short break, being so well located. It's very easy to explore the city on foot from here. Simply turn left out the door heading straight down and within 15 minutes on foot you are at the Duomo then find yourself on Ponte Vecchio which leads to Palazzo Pitti and entrance to Boboli gardens! Host Allegra was very friendly, kind and helpful, pointing out nearby shopping etc, and she was easy to contact if anything needed organising. Highly recommended!
I might define Allegra's apartment with a single word: SPECTACULAR.
It is located in the Palazzo Pandolfini, very central and close to all tourist attractions. The apartment is huge, very well distributed and very well decorated, Allegra has been preoccupied with fill it with very special and beautiful objects. It has a fantastic cuisine and allows you to have breakfast or dine peacefully at home if you don't want to exit.
One great thing is that the apartment has access to the private garden of the palazzo and a huge terrace which is above the apartment.
But what makes it more enjoyable a visit is a friendly host and Allegra in that aspect was excellent, she received us on time at the door of the Palazzo and taught us everything we needed to know, in addition she offered to accompany us to visit the surrounding area.
We had a small inconvenience during our stay, but she was worried about to resolve it quickly.
I highly recommend Allegra's apartment, it makes the visit to Florence a wonderful experience.
It was our first visit to Florence and from the first moment that we met Allegra, and she showed us the loft apartment that we were to live in for the next 5 nights, we were spellbound. Allegra is a wonderul host who did everything possible to make our stay inviting, warm and comfortable. As the apartment is in the very centre of Florence, we were able to walk almost everywhere, to experience the best Florence has to offer. Museums, galleries, restaurants, cafes and markets.
The apartment is beautiful, authentic, clean and provides everything you might need during your stay. I give my wholehearted recommendation for anyone who wants to experience the delights that Florence offers in a most wonderful environment.
