Elegantly designed and decorated by architect-interior designer team to make your Charleston stay glamorous and exclusive. Some have described this pied-a-terre as 'worthy of a photo shoot by a home design magazine.' Want to be pampered? Why settle for anything less when you're in South Carolina's most historic and richly romantic city?
Our professionally designed and decorated home is loaded with details almost too numerous to list, but here are a few exclusive features: keyless entry system, remote control lighting, remote control luminette shades, towel warmer, steam shower, 'California Closet style' organization system, pot-filler, drawer mini-refrigerator/freezer, trash compactor, desk and office chair, WIFI and DirecTV.
Charleston's Historic District comes into full view when you press the remote control and open the wall-to-wall luminette shades. The King Street windows frame the rich, deep history for which Charleston is famous.
WHY WE CHOSE CHARLESTON
The temperate month of April on King Street with hundreds of people shopping, sightseeing, milling around, taking in the sights of 18th century architecture, and the 'buzz' of the city, sold us on this historic location. We can peer through our window at passersby (unnoticed)...great for people watching!
WHY YOU SHOULD CHOSE THIS PLACE
We are confident that you would enjoy our pied-à-terre. Our guests usually cannot find words to describe it when they peek inside for the first time. It is located on middle King Street (known as the Fashion District) between Calhoun & George Streets. Forbes Traveler named Charleston’s historic King Street shopping area one of the “10 Top Shopping Districts in USA.” Clothing boutiques and designer shoe stores begin only a few doors down. Williams-Sonoma's new Charleston location is 1/2 block north, and Pottery Barn is 1/2 block south of the condo entrance. The pied-à-terre is 1-1/2 blocks from Marion Square (Farmer's Market).

Bob & Debbie were great hosts and it is a great apartment. They were very clear in communication before and during the stay (sent materials about locating the apt/parking, had guides to use all of the appliances for us during the stay). The apartment is clean, up-to-date, spacious and well-located. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to many restaurants, it is located on the big shopping street and is very close to rental car locations, visitors' center, farmers' market. It was a great place to stay and they were very responsive with numerous questions we had prior to our stay. Would highly recommend!
We are an architect-interior design couple. We really enjoy remodeling projects--the hard work between the BEFOREs and AFTERs not only transforms space, but also transforms us as we invest ourselves into it--we like giving old things new life.
