  • It was a great relief for me to find accommodation with Debra and Mark at such short notice. They were splendid hosts, and made me feel at home in their lovely and very comfortable place. I'll check in with them first next time I visit Orem/Provo.

  • We had a very pleasant stay at the house of Mark & Debra Williams and regret that we had to leave already after one night (going back home again). The house is very clean. Our room was quiet, very cozy, painted in harmonic colours and it was agreeable to have a private bathroom. Mark and Debra are very nice and really good hosts. We can recommend their house!

  • Debra and her husband we extremely kind. My wife and I stayed with them for a few days while we waited to move into our new house.

They were very nice, and always accommodating. Their house was a beautiful house in a quiet area. I especially enjoyed their backyard, which was very well kept with a number of different flowers, plants, and trees.

We enjoyed our stay there very much, and highly recommend staying with them if you have the chance.

  • A+++ I had an excellent experience at Debra and Mark's. Their home is lovely and immaculate, quiet and pleasant. The landscaping is beautiful and beautifully maintained. There is a nicely appointed and relaxing porch with a view of the beautiful backyard, which includes a small apple tree.

The Williams were the perfect hosts, generously providing for my needs, yet allowing me ample privacy and easy access to the house when I returned from my meetings.

I recommend this host family and their home without reservation!

  • Debbe and Mark are perfect hosts---always providing their assistance as needed, friendly, and making it easy for their guests to come and go at will. Guests will find a basket with fruit and snacks in a bedside basket, along with bottled water. Debbe will prepare breakfast for guests who desire it, or see you off with a snack.

Mark and Debbe are very courteous and make the effort to keep their home quiet so as not to disturb their guests. Even their sweet little dog Mollie is quiet.

There is a sitting room with television on the second floor, and the bedrooms are nicely decorated and orderly with ample storage and ceiling fans. There is a beautiful view of the mountains. The house is one of only a handful of homes on the private street where it is located.

It is 10-15 minutes from downtown Provo, and BYU is close by. There are dozens of restaurants and retail sites near the, amd the neighborhood.

The house has great street appeal with its perfectly groomed and well-designed, colorful flower beds and comfortable seating on the front porch. There is a lovely back porch for having your morning beverage or relaxing in the late afternoon.

The backyard is perfectly groomed and an oasis of flowers, trees---including a red apple tree---and a soothing sounding water feature.

I will definitely request reservations in the Williams' lovely home again. What a great place to stay---welcoming, comfortable, a great floorplan for B&B, IMMACULATE!!

I can't say enough good things about my stay---thank you, Debbe and Mark!

  • Mark and Debra are a lovely couple with a lovely home. We were very lucky to have found them on AirBNB while passing through the Salt Lake City area. Little did we know upon arriving at SLC that there was a huge convention going on, and none of the hotels within the city nor within a ~40-minute radius of the city had any vacancies. Mark and Debra agreed to host us with practically no advanced notice, and were the sweetest. The house was clean and extremely comfortable. Comfy bed, great shower. Mark went out of his way to move and adjust the router when we had WiFi troubles, and totally solved the problem. They even surprised us with a basket of fruit and water bottles upon arrival.
I highly recommend Mark and Debra's home to anyone needing a place to stay in the SLC area. Their place is also located very close (~20-25 min drive) to a bunch of very beautiful areas in the mountains.

  • We stayed in Debbie's lovely home for two days July 18 and 19. It was perfectly located for our tour of the Alpine Loop in American Fork Canyon.
Each morning Debbie served great breakfasts outside on the deck overlooking the lovely garden. Even picked raspberries fresh for our waffles.
We were in the upstairs room and, as it happened had the entire upstairs to ourselves. It was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable.
And thanks again, Debbie for recommending Kneader's Bakery to us. What a treat to find such a wonderful place for homemade soup and other goodies!

  • Me and my colleague had a wonderful stay at Debra Williams's place. A feeling of familiarity combined with privacy made this the ideal setting for our trip. We were treated to a healthy wholesome breakfast everyday combined with some chocolate chunk cookies as treats in the afternoon, just confirming the sublime hospitality of our host. Situated close to most tourist destinations combined with the summer sun only setting after 9pm gave us ample opportunity to go sightseeing and biking after our training. A future trip to the States will definitely be combined with a stay at Debra's passing over the Salt Lake City/Orem area. Thank you Debra.

About
I live with my husband Mark in a five bedroom home. We love to work outside in the yard in the summer. We have five boys . They live all over the country so we are normally home by ourselves. The boys are all married and we have 8 grandchildren. We decided this would be a fun way to get to know people and share our home. We love to ride bikes up Provo Canyon which is only about 10 minutes from our home. We love to travel to visit our children and also see new places. We enjoy movies and have a theater room downstairs in our home. Our boys are very musical so we love music. We performed clogging and bluegrass music as a family as they were growing up. We recently retired as co-directors of the clogging workshop at BYU after 28 years. Mark teaches history and business classes at Independence High School in Provo. I stay at home and also help my mom at her place . We are very involved in our church too.
