A stay guests call magical
Guests describe this stay as magical, praising the thoughtful design and peaceful forest setting
Escape to a dreamy dome nestled in the redwoods. Cozy and romantic, this natural retreat features a private outdoor tub for starlit soaks and a fireplace for cozy nights in. Thoughtfully designed with earthy textures and elemental beauty, the dome offers a peaceful, magical stay surrounded by towering trees—a perfect getaway to relax, reconnect, and experience the spirit of the forest.
The space
Our farm on the Mendocino Coast is a living art project, always growing and evolving. We tend orchards of heirloom apples, create beauty in every corner, and fill the land with inspiring details. Wander through vibrant gardens, meet our friendly goats and chickens, and soak in the creativity woven throughout. Just a mile from the ocean, it’s a place where nature, art, and coastal magic come together.
Guest access
We welcome you to roam & explore while being mindful of other guests that may be on the land. We have 2 other stays but plenty of room for everyone to find quiet & inspiration.
Other things to note
Please not that occasionally other guests may stroll down a path about 25 ft from the dome but it feels very secluded and in a world all its own. We encourage you to explore The whole farm and feel as though it’s home for a time. The bathroom is a short stroll through the forest and you are more than welcome to prepare food in our glasshouse in the apple orchard, glamping style. The sauna is available to all 3 of our unique stays, if it's in use please wait your turn. Feel free to visit the goats, you will find grain to feed them in the galvanized bin.
If you are choosing to connect to the Wifi, it is best to connect closer to the sauna/glasshouse area....The Farm password maisy2004, most networks connect just fine but a few do not.
Note: The dome is heated by a wood stove—your own little hearth to gather around. We leave a fire all set and ready for you to light upon arrival, and provide a Duraflame log for your additional nights. Tending the fire is part of the experience, and while the space stays quite comfortable, do note that chilly mornings are possible—just another reason to enjoy a slow cup of coffee by the flames. If you aren’t comfortable tending a fire as your heat source this may not be the stay for you.

I love that moment when everything is perfect, knowing it's fleeting. I love details and those extra touches. I try not to let a day go by without making something, sometimes it's just my bed or making someone smile. I consider The Farm one giant art project.
