The space
This spacious and private cottage accommodates 2-6 guests with two master suites, 2 full baths, a full-size kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and a generous outdoor deck with a built-in BBQ. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has two queen-size beds. Alpenglow 1 is surrounded by sun-loving Black Oak with views into the Merced Canyon.

Each home is a perfect retreat for one family, while all three can create the ideal base camp for a family reunion.
Each cottage employs a green building design and is accented with beautiful and durable modern finishes. Generous rooflines are oriented to welcome the warmth of the low winter sun while strategically shading each home from the heat of the summer sun.
Year-round comfort is ensured by efficient heating and air conditioning units custom-controlled for each room. Air conditioning is a welcome and uncommon amenity in Yosemite West. A large gas fireplace provides both ambiance and warmth as needed. Radiant floor heating in the bathrooms helps warm toes on cool mornings. Each unit has a washer and dryer.
While each Alpenglow is connected with a common private driveway, each is situated on its own private quarter-acre lot with its own unique character.

Due to the size of our homes, there are no early check-ins and no late checkouts. We have this question a lot and I’m sorry, the answer is no, It takes time to prepare a home this size, so we ask you kindly not to ask, Thank you!

Our check-in time is anytime after 4 pm, check-out time is 10 am. When you arrive, there will be a keypad on the door, the combination for your stay is the last 4 digits of your phone number. To use, enter your code, you can then turn the deadbolt and enter. Please read the welcome binder on the kitchen table for information on the home and what to do in the surrounding area.
Mandatory 1 vehicle parking from November-May 4WD/AWD with tire chains required for the driveway in Winter or early spring.


Snow chains are required from November through the end of April during snowy conditions.

Other things to note
We provide you with dishware, cookware, silverware, blankets, pillows, linens and towels. Condiments provided are hot chocolate, Folgers coffee and filters, sugar packets, cream packets, Lipton tea, and salt & pepper. We also provide dishwasher detergent, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and free firewood for our Yosemite West properties. All our properties come equipped with propane BBQs, and we provide the propane

Yosemite Park is a part of my life, it's my second home. As a child I enjoyed badger pass ski resort, mountain climbing, lots of hiking, fishing, and the wildlife, the park has been my backyard my whole life. I learned a lot from visitors from all over the country, and overseas. I enjoy traveling myself, I also grew up surfing, skating, and kayaking, I'm an adventurer. My favorite vacations were staying in a villas, beach houses, lodges, and enjoying the area. I hope to bring that to my guests as well. Come, enjoy one of my cabins, as your home in Yosemite!
