This apartment is very spacious and in an excellent location. You are not in central Rome but only a few stops away (10 min) on the nearby tram ( I honestly prefer it that way). We spent every night in the very lively Travestere neighborhood and it was amazing. This apartment is very basic but has everything you need. We made breakfast there every day and enjoyed a glass of wine before going out on the town. If you are American you might miss the a/c but that is standard most places in Europe. Every room had nice big French doors and a little balcony that allowed for plenty of air day and night. We were not greeted by Manuela when we arrived but a very nice associate of hers showed us around and answered any questions we had. They also assisted us with booking good transportation to and from the apartment. Overall if I had to recommend this Airbnb to anyone I certainly would as long as they understood they wouldn’t be staying at the ritz.

Very spacious apartment. Perfect for large families or groups of students. Good location. We walked everywhere and never took public transportation. Great communication from host. Very helpful at check in. Will recommend for sure.

What can I say about the amazing service I received from Manuela & AnnaMarie! First, communication was excellent, every message I sent was was answered almost immediately! They helped me book a shuttle bus from the cruise port where we arrived, which was very convenient. Upon arriving, AnnaMarie came and greeted us, followed by Manuela. They gave us a tour of the apartment and also gave us some maps to help with our stay. The apartment was very clean! It was very big too, enough to accommodate all 14 of my family members! Location was great as the tram and bus stops were right under the building. The area felt safe and we had no issues at all! The only downside was the abnormally hot weather in Rome and that there were no air conditioners but, we had a fan in every room and being high up gave us a really nice breeze at night. I cannot express how great everything was and how much my family enjoyed staying here! They even kept our luggage in storage since we had a late flight so that we can enjoy our day in Rome and helped us book our shuttle to the airport! Thank you both so much for everything!

We had a great time in Rome as an extended family with 10 people total. We were 3 generations, and this apartment worked really well for us. Manuela and Anna Maria were very helpful with questions or any issue that arose. The place was spacious and clean (very important to me!) Both bathrooms and the kitchen were good sizes. The elevator was small but worked great for my elderly mother. The younger generations took the stairs up and down with no problem. The building is in a nice area w/a supermarket just down the block - helpful for breakfast stuff and for packing lunches everyday. There is also a hotel across the street where my brother sometimes went in the morning to ask questions about things outside Rome, renting cars, etc. The main street nearby Viale di Trastevere can be a little loud at night from the cars speeding by. However, we are from New York, so it didn't bother us. My nieces closed their windows and it didn't bother them either. We stayed for 5 days which was a perfect amount of time in Rome for us. We walked up Viale di Trastevere every day and crossed Garibaldi Bridge towards the center and all the sites. It took about 15-20 mins to get to the bridge. There is a fabulous ice cream shop Gellateria Antica on Viale di Trastevere a block before crossing over the bridge. We hit it every night on the way back to the apartment. We tried others elsewhere earlier in the day, but this was voted the best by everyone. All in all, the apartment was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it for a large group of people.

They met me there when we arrived. The place was great. It was a block from a nice up and coming street and about 1/2 mile from the area with a ton of bars/restaurants, so there was never any problem finding something to do. It's a cool and upcoming neighborhood. The apartment was great with balconies, a kitchen, and 2 baths and a washer so it was a great place for us to finish our trip through Italy.

Absolutely delighted with everything! My students were thrilled with the clean and spacious apartment, which had all the amenities and then some. The neighborhood is great: safe, fun, well-supplied with restaurants, supermarket, bank, buses to town, the Sunday flea market, etc. Best of all, Manuela and her assistant Anna Maria were so lovely--warm, friendly, helpful, available, gracious: everything I could possibly ask for. It's clear they actually love what they do, and take the idea of being *hosts* seriously--they made me feel like an old friend! One of the students celebrated a birthday while staying in the apartment, and they actually brought her a cake! Incredible. Will absolutely use their apartments again when I lead my next trip to Rome. Above and beyond the call of duty: thank you for everything!!
