Bed and couch in LR

Apartment - Shared room · Ala Wai Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96815, United States

One bedroom condo with rental bed and couch in living room. Full kitchen, laundry, internet, cable TV. Nice ocean breezes but also has AC if needed. Must be OK with two cats, very friendly. Very clean space. Few blocks from center of Waikiki with all street vendors, great restaurants, beach.

The Space

Best thing about this is it is two blocks from Waikiki beach, easy walking and access to food, buses, entertainment. It is also in a secure building with a nice lanai to watch sunsets or fireworks. Must be OK with two cats---one is friendly, other mostly hides!

Guest Access

You can wash your clothes here, share use of bath and kitchen, put items in fridge or freezer, use the pool downstairs.

Interaction with Guests

My interaction with guests totally depends on schedules and needs of guests. I work alot, but mostly am here evenings to share the space. If I am doing something and you aren't busy, we can arrange for adventures sometimes.

Other Things to Note

There is a pool outside the building. Very limited parking in the neighborhood but great bus access.

Check In
  • This is my first experience of Airbnb. She is such a helpful person. She showed warm welcome for me and did everything what I needed for staying there. So my first experience turned out great memories thanks to her. Two cats are so adorable and friendly :) Thanks a lot, Carol!!!

  • On behalf of my sister who stayed at Carol's place, overall she enjoyed the atmosphere of the room.

  • Carol was extremely nice and accommodating. The apartment was pleasant and in an excellent location. I enjoyed my stay very much.

  • Carol is a friendly and helpful person.
The place was perfect, because is very close to the Waikiki beach. 5min. to walk.
And her house in Big Island is a dream. Pure nature.
    Thank you again.

  • The room is exactly as it looks in the photo. It is not exactly a room in the sense that it is separate from the apartment, but it is the apartment's living room. As a result it is not completely private. However, it presents excellent value for a short stay, being only a 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and all of the shops, etc. The use of the kitchen is included. Carol is a lovely and welcoming hostess.

    February 2014
  • Carol is very interesting, well-educated, and a great communicator.
We laughed a lot, and enjoyed the kitty antics performed by Vinnie and Charlotte. Next time I definitely want to go shopping with Carol, who has a discerning eye! Thanks for the nice days in the dollhouse, Carol! See you again.

  • Carol is a nice lady, & she has a cozy place. I would totally stay with her again; her place is mere blocks from the beach at a truly incredible price!

  • A comfy couch in a cozy little flat, I slept like a log. Central location, I've done a lot on foot considering that I only stayed for a day and a half. Carol is a lovely, very knowledgeable lady with 2 cool cats & her recommendation to see the Polynesian centre was spot on.

    January 2014
  • Carol is very nice person. But for me, sharing the same space with her was a bit difficult. The location is indeed very good. I wouldn't pay for it more then 40 $.

    Response from Carol:

Thank you for your feedback, Shahaf. I think I shared exactly what the space was, so I am sorry if you had any dissatisfaction. Aloha, Carol

  • I love Carol's coffee, which she had ready every morning. I loved being so close to the beach and many restaurants and fun bars. The place is small and cozy, but very welcoming. .
