Welcome to our lovely home, Casa Águila Dorada (Golden Eagle). We hope you enjoy our desert oasis as much as we do. Backing to the Organ Mountains National Monument, enjoy a tranquil space with visiting wildlife. We have a golden eagle that flies over every day, hence the name, and hiking trails are easily accessible from here. While very peaceful out here, it is only a 10 minute drive to Las Cruces city limit, so very convenient for exploring the area. Enjoy peace and solitude on top of it all!

The space
Our home is custom built against the hillside and filled with beautiful woodwork. Each room has floor to ceiling windows with incredible views in all directions. Upstairs is the master bedroom with panoramic views, a guest room, and a children's room with toys. Downstairs is a great room and a fourth bedroom we use as a large office that has a pull out sofa to be a full size bed. We also have a leather sofa in the living room that is a pull out sofa for additional guest space. Two large central air heat and refrigerated A/C units to keep you comfortable year-round. There is an infrared sauna in the laundry room that seats two so you can fully enjoy the relaxing environment.

Talavera is a desirable part of Las Cruces with many large estates, all properties here are at least a couple acres. Our home is accessible to nature and many hiking trails, the Sierra Vista Trail runs right behind the hill we are on, and the Soledad Canyon area is just up the road. Dripping Springs and A Mountain are also a close drive. It is an extremely safe area, and very peaceful. We loved living up here but needed to move to the other side of town for our daughter's school.
