Last year my wife and I spent a month in Tom's apartment. At that time I wrote a very positive review. We felt the same way this time. Tom is a great host. The apartment if anything is better than it looks on the site. Very important, the staff and the other residents of the building are very friendly and accommodating. I did not mention this last time, because I did not realize how important it is. This spring Tom's apartment was not available. We staid in an apartment where the host was breaking the building's rules about subletting. It made for a very disagreeable experience.
Very accommodating host! Area was excellent and was close to the subway for all other areas of Manhattan. Has a great view of the Cathedral behind the building and Central Park is only a couple of minutes walk away. Thanks!
the apartment is awesome! We stayed there for 5 weeks. It is fully appointed, clean, with a working washer/dryer (!) and dishwasher. The bed is really comfortable and there are ample linens and towels. Great full kitchen with coffeepot and microwave. Trash room on each floor.
It overlooks the courtyard of St John the Divine Cathedral.
The location is great -- 3 blocks from the B/C line and 3 blocks from Broadway and the 1 train. Super easy to get around.
The building is great clean, 24 hour concierge who is very helpful, on site dry cleaner, mailbox in building. There is an attached garage which also offers Zip Cars.
The only -- and minor --- inconvenience is that the cable TV package is not as complete as we had thought.
Wireless access is easy and worked extremely well.
I would stay there again, without hesitation.
Very nice and clean apartment with fantastic view! Exactly as it is on the pictures. Great location near Columbia University for those who study and the parks for those who enjoy jogging. Tom is very felexible and helpful. Thank you!
The apartment was perfect and the photos exactly what the unit looks like.
The bed was comfortable and the apartment modern and clean.
The location is perfect, only minutes walk to 1 and B, C and D subway. starbucks and markets literally just around the corner.
Overall we had wonderful experience stayed at Tom's.
Tom Z's place is a pristine, airy one-bedroom with a rare, birds' eye view of St. Johns Cathedral and the city beyond. Being on a high floor, it is also very quiet. Everything in the apartment is comfortable - the bed, the living room sofa... and the amenities are modern like the building itself.
Though we did not meet in person, Tom was easy to communicate with and arrange for keys etc. This would be a top choice for me when revisiting Manhattan.
