Located 20 minutes driving from the Vigo airport, the first thing that one realizes when reaching the place is its prime location.
Emplaced in the central district of Quintela, travelers can park in the public parking of the municipal library and move around the area by car or by foot. If this is the case, it takes 5 minutes to access the bustling food market of Moaña, through the old path of A Canexa with its 115 stairs.
Regarding the house, its original design consisted of one floor and it is an example of traditional Galician architecture with more than 150 years old. The top two floors were built in a reform carried out in the fifties. Years later a final reform was done in 2002 responsible of the curren-t appearance of the house. Each of the three floors of the house are about 50 m2.
On the ground floor they are located kitchen, a spacious living room and a bathroom. This is the oldest part of the house, with stone walls 80 cm thick on one side, remains of the original house.
A wooden staircase gives access to the upper floors, both of wood, which gives the house a sense of comfort and livability.
On the first floor there are two double rooms, a small living room with library and a bathroom. The second and last floor leads to an attic which was rebuilt and designed as another bedroom in an open space.
Finally, the southeast orientation of the house guarantees plenty of light and offers access to a small garden, an intimate green corner where one can rest when admiring panoramic views of the Vigo Bay or simply having a barbecue with the family.
