Our host, Patricia, was so accommodating in so many ways. The studio was so comfortable and clean. Great location! Would def come back. The deck was a great place to have coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. My daughter and I had a great time!
We found our two night stay in the studio to be very pleasant. The wrap-around views are lovely — you feel like you're in a treehouse — and the breeze keeps the place cool and refreshing. All was clean and comfortable, and the location is particularly convenient as a base for exploring the north side of Kauai. We would definitely stay here again.
Patricia was a great host! We absolutely loved the Coconut Studio, it was a perfect place to come back to after a long day out exploring. The location was perfect. It had great views, very nicely decorated and had all the amenities needed to cook your meals and relax! We also appreciated the use of the beach gear!
the green coconut studio is a fantastic place with gorgeous views over the sea and Kauai mountains, in a great location and very friendly hosts. the studio is in an excellent condition, very clean and offers all kitchen utilities, a gas-driven barbecue grill and even a washing machine/dryer. overall, we enjoyed every aspect of it and highly recommend this apartment.
Our stay was very enjoyable and the studio was exactly how it looks at the pictures. Conveniently located in Kapa'a we had some perfect days exploring the whole island.
It is private, clean, calm and very cozy with a view of the ocean and the sunrise.
It is the perfect place to explore Kauai and we wish to come back!
We spent a really good time in the green coconut studio. There was everything we needed, it was clean and cosy. Also the location was great to travel around kauai. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would go back again.
Our host Patricia had everything ready when we arrived!
All was clean, nicely decorated, very homey, breezie and full of Island enchantment. We could see and hear the welcoming surf from our private little Green Coconut Studio. Our bed was soft and extremely comfortable too. There was nothing we needed that was not provided by the owners! We'd return again on a whim since we were so happy in Kapa'a: good food, beaches, a large Safeway, fun shopping and friendly merchants. It's also evenly situated between south and north shores. A garden island experience like this is not to be missed!
The apartment is in a great location, if you enjoy living in a more "local" neighborhood. It's far off from Hotels and Resorts, which is what we wanted. From the balcony you can see lovely sunrises, listen to the animal sounds around you and watch the stars at night. Only downside of living in this local environment were the chickens, which might wake you up at sunrise. But we didn't mind, as it made us get up early and explore everything this amazing island has to offer. When opening up all the windows at night (as we didn't want to use the air con) it can get very breezy but it felt to us almost like sleeping in the wild with the wind and the animal sounds and everything. It was a very different and special experience.
Communication with the host although living there as well was mainly via email, which we found a little odd at first, but friendly and fine. Overall we had a great stay here.
This studio is beautiful and breezy, with gorgeous views, just as it's pictured. The kitchenette is really well-stocked with pots/pans/etc for a studio kitchen. We appreciated the snorkel/beach gear, laundry, CDs/books, and other little useful items that were available for us to use. The studio is very private and on a quiet road about ~5mins drive from central Kapaa. Great location for exploring the north and south shores.
My wife and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in the studio apartment in Kapaa. When the trade winds don't blow it gets a little hot upstairs but they do (email hidden) unit. We just felt bad using it because the price of electricity is so high in Hawaii. The location was perfect to visit the whole island. The space was great for two people. Anymore than that and you would want to look somewhere else. Everything was immaculate and we briefly saw Pat and her husband one or two times. The beach equipment and washer/dryer sure came in handy. I would highly recommend Pat's place. Lots of great restaurants/food just down the hill.
