Marian was so kind. She met us at the apartment to let us in and show us the place. It ended up being larger than we expected and very easy to walk into the city centre. It was a great stay!
Marian's flat was lovely and exactly what I needed. Her communication ahead of my arrival was superb, she met me at the door showed me in and left me to my own devices. It's a lot of space and a great value in a great location. I would go back any time if she would have me.
Marian was a very pleasant host. We made multiple points of contact and she worked around our schedule and even allowed us to host a last minute guest with no issues. There were grapes and biscuits waiting for us in the flat when we arrived. Her hospitality was great, however, we were underwhelmed by the apartment.
The flat pictured was not the flat we stayed at. The rooms and kitchen pictured were not the ones we stayed in. There were no slanted ceilings with windows and kitchen was almost dark and dingy. We were generally disappointed by the cleanliness of the flat.
Any place in an urban environment has its positive and negatives. As a younger traveler, I appreciated the close proximity to the college drag and the host of restaurants and bars. My (older) in-laws were much less impressed by the neighborhood noise and the street we were parked on which became quite barren (summer holiday, I realize) at night. This and the graffiti in the public areas of the building made us question our security in this place, however, we had no issues.
Take my comments with a grain of salt. Other reviewers seemed quite happy in this flat.
Marian was a very friendly, welcoming host.... we gave her a phonecall and she was right there when we parked in front of the apartment.
Spacious apart, ent, we were with 4 adults and had 3 bedrooms. Fully equiped kitchen, some grapes and cookies ready for us.
Everything was clean, well taken care of.... perfect location to walk info town. Quiet street (except for some partypeople saturdaynight, but that can happen anywhere) free parking. In short, we had a great stay and would certainly stay here again.
We had an excellent stay! The apartment was lovely, it was clean and spacious and in a great location. Plus Marian was lovely, and very friendly. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in belfast.
Welcomed punctually by marion who had provided biccies and tea and coffee and milk!! Overall very pleased with our stay, we were comfortable for the weekend and left in relative peace to get on with things. Great value for money, not exuberant by any stretch of the imagination but clean and tidy, clean beds and fresh towels. Luved it. Will definitely use again. Thanks marion x
Marian was very welcoming and very punctual. She had a carton of milk left for us and a packet of biscuits, tea bags and coffee! Such a nice gesture and so nice to be able to have a cup of tea after travelling. The house is basic but suited us perfectly as we didn't want any fancy extras. We literally just wanted a comfortable, clean and affordable space and that's exactly what this place is :) All linen, towels etc are provide and there is three decent sized bedrooms all with double beds! I'm defiantly staying here again when I go back to Belfast!
