You will love our home because of the beautiful view, our loving pups, and our calm & quiet space. An open living room with large windows overlooks majestic mountain ranges! We have a backyard perfect for dogs and room for outdoor dining. We are 420 friendly. Dry goods and farm fresh eggs are provided for breakfast.

The space
Mi casa es su casa! We want our guests to unwind and enjoy the location of our home while experiencing the influence of the Latino history and culture in Escondido. People tell us that our house is very welcoming and feels like a peaceful, home-away-from-home. When you come for a stay we want you to relax and be able to unplug. Therefore, Wi-Fi will not be included in our amenities. You are welcome to cook up a meal in the kitchen and will have access to all dishes and appliances. You can enjoy our outdoor dining area or eat inside at the dining table.

We are dog friendly as well as 420 friendly. My husband, Alec and I have both found healing through medicinal marijuana and have now become advocates in this industry. We aim to provide a full cannabis experience to our guests by allowing the use of marijuana on the property and by gifting CBD products to our guests upon their arrival, donated by our sponsors. Cannabis massages, ganja yoga and sound healing sessions are also available upon request.

We do have 3 dogs that love people and love attention. If you don't want to be bothered, don't feel like you have to pet them. Their names are Koyuki, Bubba & Humphrey. Please be mindful that we are pet friendly and may have additional pets in the home.

Guest access
The only spaces that are off limits to guests - is our personal room at the end of the hall on the right, our garage and guest house. Guests will receive one house key, a key to their personal room and have access to the front porch, kitchen, living room, family room, dining area and backyard. We will also be providing one parking spot per reservation. Please keep this in mind if you have two cars, you will need to park the other one somewhere else.

During your stay
We are in and out during the day. We are home most evenings. We are always available to you if you have questions, need recommendations on dining, entertainment, local hiking trails etc. If you would like to visit we are open to that as well. Alec and I are very down to earth people. Very easy going and laid back. Our motto is: To work hard, be kind to people, and be the most amazing dog parents we can be!! We simply enjoy our home and Love to share it with others!

Other things to note
This room has a Queen size bed with a very comfortable mattress. We have provided hangers in the closet and towels in the basket by the bed.

The price includes 2 people (or 1 person + 1 pet). If we have guests booked in the other guest room it is a shared bathroom.

We will notify you right away if any items were forgotten. Items left behind after departure will be stored for 30 days. If not claimed after 30 days the items will be donated.

Neighborhood highlights

Our house is located on 1/2 acre of land. It makes our home very private and quiet. Our neighborhood is known for being very calm and safe! We are located close to restaurants, local hiking trails, shopping, the Beach is 15 minutes away & 1 hour from Disneyland.

Hi! Nikki and Alec here, a young married couple who is expecting their first baby in August! We are San Diego natives who love our home town, love to travel and love meeting new people! I am a part-time corporate event planner and a full-time Airbnb Superhost. Alec was a carpenter prior to his work-comp injury and is now recovering after surgery through physical therapy. We both use medical marijuana for post-injury healing and pain management. We are openly cannabis advocates and hope this doesn't offend anyone. We respect all opinions and diversities. When we aren't working or traveling, we enjoy hanging out with our three dogs, Bubba, Koyuki & Humphrey. So far we’ve loved our adventures with Airbnb and hope that you will embark on this journey with us!
