Interaction with Guests
I enjoy meeting my guests at least briefly during the course of their stay. Interaction depends upon each individual. Some people have joined us for dinner or a glass of wine. Many have been so busy with their own agendas that we only saw one another in passing. The most important factor for me is that our guests are comfortable and know that they are free to contact me with any questions or needs during their stay.
Our neighborhood is pedestrian and bicycle friendly with easy access to parks, shops, buses, restaurants.
Our house is one to two blocks from the major bus lines. Parking is free and available on both sides of the street in front of the house. The Super Shuttle is available from DIA and will bring you directly to our front door. There is also a new SkyRide from DIA. Please look it up on line for prices and schedules.
Other Things to Note
No dogs or cats.
No major parties. Families and friends have enjoyed gathering here for many celebrations and holidays. All of our guests have been most respectful of the household so that even when they are coming in late there is no disturbance to other guests or residents. We have a large, friendly dog named Bud who will be out in the yard only when we are at home on the first floor.
Cynthia was very welcoming. We arrived with no problems and were fairly comfortable. Be aware that there is only one real bed in this listing, in addition to a pullout couch (which was comfortable) and an air mattress. The couch is in the living room, and there are no blinds, so it was a little tough to sleep in. There was an issue with the wifi, but Cynthia was helpful in trying to get it fixed for us. The shower has great heat and water pressure.
We had a great experience. Cynthia is kind and thoughtful, and the apartment is comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.
What a terrific introduction to airbnb! Information on the rental was thorough and accurate and Cynthia made timely responses and gave complete and easy directions prior to our arrival. The apartment was immaculate, well appointed, warm (in 0 degree temperature outside) and the bed comfortable. We were impressed and surprised by the stock of supplies we might use in both the bathroom and kitchen. In spite of the snow, our pathway to the house was always cleared and street parking easy. Bud, the dog, was a sweet and placid "beast." Location was fantastic for access to the downtown area or Cherry Creek, the places we visited. We saw Cynthia only in passing, as the cold caused us not to linger outside long; she was very personable and responded very quickly to the texts I sent arranging checkout. I have no doubt she would have been helpful had we been unfamiliar with Denver. It was terrific to have a "home" to stay in rather than a hotel room.
Charming, 100 year old house. It was great. Cynthia was awesome. Very welcoming and kind and organized. It had everything that you could ask for it. It was a great, private apt.
We had a great stay in Denver. Cynthia's apartment is very convenient to downtown and a good alternative to a hotel!
Cynthia's place was great! She greeted us with a helpful smile, responded immediately to my questions and has a spacious, clean comfortable place in a fabulous neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.
Very pleasant upstairs apartment in a beautiful vintage home, with easy access to downtown Denver. Very well appointed...we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Our host lives on the premises and was very helpful.

I have lived and worked very happily in my house for 21 years. It is just recently that I have decided to create spaces to share with visitors. I work as a Jungian psychotherapist in an office on the 3rd floor. So, during the week there will be a few people sharing the bathroom and waiting room that are part of the 3rd floor suite. Otherwise, you will have private access to the entire floor. Our 2nd floor unit is a 950 sq.ft private apartment with a well-stocked kitchen, a formal dining room, large living room with deck and a bath & bedroom behind French Doors. There is also a pull-out full size couch/bed in the living room and an Aero bed that can be moved wherever might be convenient for the 5th guest. The mattresses are Tempurpedic on both floors. I have a Samoyed named Bud who keeps all of us safe and smiling. He has a space in the front yard and stays on the first floor with me. When I recently traveled to Marseille, France, I had the great good fortune to stay in a local home and learned first-hand how great it is to have a personal connection away from home. I have also been to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe as well as Mexico. I love meeting new people and seeing the world. Our many Airbnb guests bring the world to us.
