Cosy central Apt. near Carlsberg

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Slesvigsgade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 1762, Denmark

Quiet place just around the corner from the vibrant Vesterbro and close to city center.

The Space

Light, cosy apartment with a sunny balcony in a central and quiet part of Copenhagen.

There is one bedroom (with a queen-size bed), a spacious livingroom, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet, and a nice private balcony with a view to the park - perfect for a coffee in the afternoon - or a glass of wine in the evening sun.

Great location in quiet street by the park, but only a few minutes walk from the shops, café's, etc. in trendy Vesterbro.

Situated next to Carlsberg and recreational areas (including Copenhagen zoo) - and only a few minutes walk from the nearest S-train Station (just 2 stops to Cph. Central). There are also busses around the corner, so it is very easy to get to the City Center.

Plenty of bars and restaurants in the neigborhood - I will be happy to recommend the best. Also a good variety of supermarkets in walking distance.

Shower, dishwasher and washing machine, cable-tv, DVD, Ipod Dock and an extra tv in the bedroom.

Suits two people, but could fit 3.

  • The apartment was neat and cozy. Henrik was great to deal with and greeted us on our arrival. The apartment is close to an S train station and in a quiet neighborhood. We toured the Carslberg Brewery which is a ten minute walk. Recommend staying with Henrik.

  • Henrik's apartment was a perfect place to start our journey in Copenhagen. The location alone is worth a stay; It's a really fun, lively neighborhood that's quiet at night yet bustling during the day. The apartment itself was nice and clean. And Henrik is a tremendous communicator so making arrangements and exchanging emails was really very easy.

  • We had a wonderful weekend in Copenhagen and Henrik's apartment was a nice place to stay, perfect for 2 persons. It was close enough to the city center, but in a quiet neighbourhood. Renting a bike is recommended, then you have plenty of time during the day to discover a lot of the marvellous city. Henrik is a gentle host, takes good care of his guests. Book and find out for your self!

  • easy time at henrik's! very clean apartment a short walk to some interesting shops and restaurants/cafes in what seems to be an "up and coming" neighborhood. i was with a friend 2 nights and on my own 2 nights. i felt safe on my own, but the walking around late at night near the apartment felt a little desolate, though i had no problems. i definitely recommend renting a bike as you will do a LOT of walking otherwise. once i rented a bike i enjoyed the city much more. henrik was kind and very communicative. he let me stay an extra day on extremely short notice, and was there when i arrived with everything ready. if you want a bit more uptown in terms of neighborhood try norreboro for great shopping and restos. otherwise enjoy the character of vestebro and just rent a bike! you can ride all over! thank you, henrik!

  • We had a great time staying at Henrik's flat. As others have written before, it is in a residential and quiet area of Vesterbro with easy access to bars and restaurants, and public transport is close, too. At the back of the apartment there is a yard and it can be a bit noisy (it happened in one out four nights) but nothing you wouldn't expect being in the centre of a city.
We rented bikes which I can highly recommend. Cycling is easy, fun and safe and you won't need any public transport.
Communication with Henrik was quick and easy. We didn't meet Henrik but a friend welcomed us and gave us some local tips. Nice touch leaving a few drinks in the fridge. We'd stay again.

  • Everyone has already said it here, but you could not ask for more in a host than Henrik- impeccably prompt, efficient, helpful and considerate. His flat is gorgeous and wonderfully located- right next to Istergade- the vibrant artery of Vesterbro. If you're lucky enough to have as wonderful weather as I did on my stay, you'll have no need to use it, but the metro stop is at the end of the road and so it is incredibly easy to get anywhere in central Copenhagen within 15mins or so- even the airport is only half an hour away! The balcony is a lovely addition too. Cannot recommend Henrik and his apartment more highly. I had such a wonderful time in Copenhagen, Henrik- thank you so much!

  • Very comfortable apartment in a great area, close to cafes, bars etc and very short walk to the train. Henrik was easy to deal with, quick responding and the place was clean and tidy. Recommended!

  • A nice and comfortable apartment, which I appreciated also because of the cold weather. Gives me a warm welcome every day, when coming home.
I met Hedrik at the airport and he gave me an introduction and the keys. The rest was quite easily to handle.
Setbacks are of course the hot water and the 4 th floor without lift, if You carry a large trunk.
All together I can recommend Henriks apartment as the location is comfortable for sightseeing. Close to the public transport and even not far by bike and walking.

  • My girlfriend and I felt at home right from the start. For us it was a quiet and "hyggelig" place with a bus nearby (if you are too lazy to walk into the city in 15 minutes ;-) ), a supermarket and everything a good trip to Copenhagen needs. And of cause Henrik was very kind and nice. I will recommend this apartment to everyone out there. :-)

  • I took my boyfriend to Copenhagen for his 30th birthday and Henrik was the perfect host for the occasion. He was friendly and welcoming, meeting us in person to give us the key and and he had kindly gone to the trouble of finding out some of the best places for us to visit as it was our first time in the city. The flat was very homely, cosy and warm (it was freezing outside!) and it had everything we needed for our long weekend. We even had a chocolate on our pillows! Very easy to get to and from the airport and equally easy to get to the centre of the city - we also walked one day to the central station area which only took around 15 minutes. There is also a great bakery just down the road with the best pastries. There are a lot of stairs going up to the flat, but it keeps you fit and warm so unless you really struggle with stairs then it wouldn't be a problem at all. The area has a nice community feel to it, lots of families and a school on the same road. I have to say we didn't use the balcony as it was far too chilly but its a nice feature and we absolutely loved the heated floor in the shower-room! When we go back to Copenhagen, we'll definitely be staying at Henrik's place. Thanks Henrik!
