Bed & Breakfast! 5 bedrooms with a mezzanine that can hold 4 people per room + terrace and outside kitchen for our travelers. A 1 km from the Pacific Ocean in a single away from the tourist! Good waves!
Vincent is as good as a host as you can ever expect! He was so generous and accommodating! He gave me all the local knowledge of Marbella happily and made everyone feel included with his friends and sharing food. He let me borrow his bike to go to the beach and even gave me a ride to Santa Cruz when he was headed there.
The place is terrific. Cozy atmosphere, great music food and drinks. Clean rooms, comfortable mattresses and clean warm showers. I hope to stay here again and see Vincent and Evelyn again! Gracias Mae!
Vincent's Cada Luna B&B is one of Marbella's best kept secrets that surpasses any expectation one may have as a guest. We had the opportunity to stay at Cada Luna for a couple nights and ended up staying an additional 3 due to the comfortable environment. Vincent and Evelyne are beyond accommodating, gracious in every way, and are one of the nicest couples I've ever met.
It's secluded, beautiful, comfortable, and isn't blown out by tourism.
A nice clean place to stay. A good atmosphere inside and outside :) Very friendly and helpful hosts. We were very lucky to see hundreds of turtles come in to lay their eggs on Ostional Beach (15 km from Cada Luna). One of our favourite Costa rican experiences :) A lot of nice beaches nereby and some of them good for snorkeling.
Cada Luna was the perfect home away from home. With everything I could have ever wanted and needed I truly enjoyed stay there. Clean, reliable, close to the beach and the beautiful jungle.... I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Costa Rica it is a place to stop and relax.
Cada Luna was a good experience. Vincent, wife, 3 kids, 2 cats and 3 dogs all charming and make for a lot of activity. Marbella is a tiny little town far removed from the busy over developed touristy destinations. It is quite challenging to get to by public transportation as there are no direct buses from either of the closest big airports Nosara and Tamarindo. and the roads are mostly dirt. Best way is to rent a 4 x 4 (cars are not very suitable for the roads) or asked to be picked up. Cab rides are aprox $50.00. Vincen't place is very clean, comfortable and fits in very well with the natural environment. There is a small outdoor kitchen for guests but rooms could use a small refridgerator for keeping food and beverages cool. You can also arrange to eat meals at the little restaurant where they try to get good, local, fresh supplies daily. ... chefs great. Also you can find pretty much all basic supplies in the tiny local grocery store including beer and other alcoholic beverages. The beautiful black sand beach is a 15 min walk away and there is a great beach bar right on the beach but a bit pricey though. All in all a great experience if you're looking to really get away as there isn't a whole lot around. Vincent throws a party about once a month with a hired dj from San Jose.
There are only 2 places to stay in Marbella, and if you enjoy European style and vibes then this place is for you. The Swiss hosts are lovely and super helpful. The front courtyard is very peaceful, and the rooms are chic. Very, very enjoyable stay!
