. Hello! We are Tom and Vickie, and we live just around the corner from our cozy farmhouse rental. Originally from England, I met Texas Tom 35 years ago. We moved to Eagle Lake, where he is a fifth-generation rice farmer and cattle rancher. The transition from living in a city in England to rural Texas was definitely a culture shock, but I have come to cherish the peace and beauty of country life and all the wonderful nature surrounding me.
