Interaction with Guests
My 22 year old daughterAllison and Her Dog Grace are the host at this . Girls Dorm
This was my first Air BnB experience and Tim made the process easy. He made himself available and answered all my questions quickly. The room was shared with 3 other girls, which I expected, but I really didn't spend much time there except to sleep. If you're looking for a place to relax and spend time in this isn't it. It's a good spot to lay your head after a long day exploring or going to a game. The bathroom was a little on the dirtier side and the shower head was broken so you had to hold it when you showered. Annoying? Yes, but not a deal breaker. Close enough to MARTA to walk during daylight, but after dark I felt safer using Lyft or Uber. All in all it was a good experience and if I ever find myself in Atlanta again for some games I will look for Tim.
Tim and his daughter are very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Everything we needed was available in the house for use, and if it wasn't (little things like an iron), Tim brought it for us the same day. He is also very quick to respond to our inquiries during the booking process. Heads up, the house is a bit of a walk to get to the Marta station (10min) and we were advised to take a taxi or uber at night. It is a quiet neighbourhood and a comfortable stay. The room itself doesn't have much room for luggage but we could use the storage room for that and to hang some clothes, too (it was a full house when we arrived). The dog, Grace, is quiet and very friendly, as well! Definitely recommended, thanks Tim & Allison for your hospitality and kindness!
To be sure to get a single room, I booked a year before arriving. Everything was fine, and I looked forward to see the room as pictured.
Three days before arriving, the host change plans. Now I had to go to another home in a tree-bed bedroom.
No space for luggage, so I had to pack every thing every day. A big barking dog sitting its cage all day and night in the living room.
I'm so frustrated, and feel cheated
I didn't see Tim but he always answered my questions kindly. The host of girls dorm, Allison is also nice person. I felt comfortable during my stay. But at night it's better not to go outside, I think. If you want to go out late at night, it's not suite for you.
I was staying south of downtown where Tim's daughter hosts. Allison is really nice, and her dog is great. The place is a bit away from the city, but a marta station is closeby so it's not a problem to get to places.
In The room are three beds, so there is not too much space to move or put stuff, but the beds are decent.
This review is for Pearce St. address (not the address I originally requested). It is a group house. One room had 3-4 mattresses on the floor and only a curtain, no door. Kind of like a Youth Hostel. We did have a door. Our room was spacious but not clean. This was our 7th Airbnb stay and our first disappointment.
They clothes dryer was in the next room and people were drying clothes after 10:30 pm and a loud buzzer would sound when the clothes were dry. There were other people up late talking loud in the kitchen until, after 11 pm. There was plenty of parking. Neighborhood did not seem safe. Porch was dirty and there were bars on the windows. If this is the kind of place you are looking for, I am sure you will like it. We didn't.

About the Host, Tim
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own b&b. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost 15 years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about AirBNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have five properties close to downtown Atlanta three in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I have male and female dorms. My 22 year old daughter is also a host at the female dorm house on Fairbanks Street She has a wonderful dog Grace that will stay mostly in her room .I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food.
