A luxury 3 bedroom apartment over 2 floors boasting magnificent views of Loch Awe with a separate, private entrance. The Tower of Glenstrae was built in 1896 and is split in two. We live on site in the section with the tower itself. Located for easy access to Ben Cruachan and many Munros, the Tower of Glenstrae is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and those exploring the historic, visually stunning West coast of Scotland. Now with fast broadband and a great local pub is 5mins walk away!

The space
This self-contained apartment with its own entrance has three bedrooms - two with loch views - and a large lounge and dining area with a wood burning stove. The kitchen is modern and spacious with hot water on demand as needed. The main bathroom is upstairs with a power shower, toilet and separate bath. There is a second toilet downstairs with a sink. We are insured for a maximum of six guests - which includes all children, infants and babies.

The Tower of Glenstrae is set on the gorgeous Loch Awe with beautiful views with ever-changing light and colours. To the North there is easy access to the rugged beauty of Glencoe and 20miles to the West is Oban - the gateway to the Isles. Good restaurants and pubs are located in Dalmally, Inveraray and Oban. A new local pub - the Ben Cruachan Inn - opened in late April 2017 and is only a 500 metre walk away. Serves pub food and a good selection of whiskies and craft beers.

Moved with my wife Maggie from London to beautiful Loch Awe in 2015. Love cycling and walking in the wonderful hills and mountains of Scotland. We have recently taken up gentle kayaking on the local lochs!
