LOCATION
Located on the 2nd floor of the Paramin Sky property, the Suite offers panoramic views above the rainforest canopy, stretching from Port of Spain to the Caribbean Sea. On one side, it overlooks the Maraval Valley and the vibrant cityscape, while on the other, it stands above lush rainforest and Saut D'eau Island. From the rooftop, witness the Tobago ferry depart Port of Spain on one side and re-emerge at Saut D'eau Island on the other, offering a truly unique perspective of this stunning region.

GETTING HERE (Very important!)
Paramin Sky can be easily accessed via the Fond Pois Doux road which branches off of the North Coast road (aka the road heading to Maracas beach). Our cleaning team accesses the property regularly using a regular, good working Toyota Aqua (a small hybrid sedan).
Google Maps and Waze can recommend that you take the route through Paramin village. Please do not take this route unless you are familiar with it. This route is steep and has sharp turns. Please only take the North Coast route!
WIFI AND CELL RECEPTION
Due to our location we have a stronger WIFI connection than most other parts of Paramin. Our internet satellite is located on our rooftop and has direct line of sight to the signal station in Fort George. The WIFI is fast enough for remote work/zoom meetings and HD streaming.
Both Digicel and Bmobile work well in Paramin Sky Suite.
THE STRUCTURE
Paramin Sky Suite occupies the top floor of the Paramin Sky property. The entire property consists of a basement (Paramin Sky Studio), an empty road level floor (maintenance room) and a top floor and rooftop (Paramin Sky Suite).
Paramin Sky Suite is fully private and self contained however the garage is shared.
Suite guests have exclusive access to their private, spacious open-plan apartment and a stunning private rooftop—ideal for sunset lounging or morning exercise or yoga.
Secure, gated parking in the garage is included for 1 vehicle. Any additional vehicle will need to be parked directly in front of the building. There are security cameras overlooking the garage, roadway and water tanks.
Access to the Suite requires walking up an outdoor staircase 1 floor from above the garage. The private rooftop for the Suite is located immediately above Suite and also requires climbing 1 floor of stairs.
DESIGN & COMFORT
The Suite was designed for elevated comfort, featuring warm sand-toned walls, customised apamate wood finishes, high ceilings, and curated Caribbean touches throughout. Large windows and open spaces blur the line between indoor luxury and outdoor wonder. Every corner— from the open-concept shower to the oversized, cozy bed—was crafted to invite rest, connection, and deep exhalation.
The Suite is fully air-conditioned with adjustable windows for those who prefer the soothing Paramin breeze. The lighting is soft and ambient—like golden hour, all the time.
A flowing, open-plan design connects the living, dining, and rest spaces, while maximizing forest and ocean views. The Suite features a curated collection of Caribbean reads, a cozy romantic lounge, a dedicated workspace, and an indulgent spa-style bathroom—complete with a soaking tub
SOUNDSCAPE AND POTENTIAL NOISES
Paramin Sky Suite is located along the Fond Pois Doux road (a low traffic agricultural road). The space has air-condition, double glazed glass windows and sound absorbing drapes. Initial guests have found the space to be quiet and very peaceful. If the windows are fully opened sound will come in as vehicles pass occasionally on the road.
PRIVATE ROOFTOP AND WEATHER FACTORS
Exclusive to Suite guests, your rooftop offers unmatched views, cozy seating, and the perfect spot to stargaze or toast the sunset. A small kitchen area and grill are also available for open-air barbecues and meals.
From our experience the rooftop can be hot during peak daylight hours but ideal during mornings, evenings and nights.
As an open air-rooftop, use of the space is dependant on the weather. There is limited coverage during rainfall.
INSECTS/WILDLIFE
Paramin Sky Suite is nestled in a thriving rainforest. While the Suite is sealed against insects, occasional visits by insects may occur in the suite, garage or rooftop. After periods of heavy rainfall, the community has many rainflies and insects. Closing of windows and doors, and use of AC at night helps keep your space bug-free.
ELECTRICITY
Our future goal is to have a back up, solar electricity system on the property but at present we are entirely reliant on the local power grid. You can see from our reviews of Paramin Sky Studio (our other listing) that electrical outages are not frequent and most guests have a smooth stay. In the event the electricity goes we have safety lights, lamps and a power bank for devices. From our experience power cuts are usually resolved between 1-3 hrs if they occur.
HOSTING FRIENDS
The Suite accommodates up to 2 adult guests for overnight stays. You’re welcome to host up to 3 additional guests (max 5 total) on the rooftop. To maintain privacy, environmental care, and respect for the local community, these policies are strict.
Small private rooftop events may be arranged separately.
ADULTS ONLY
Paramin Sky Suite is a quiet, adults-only space designed for romance, solitude, and serenity. It is not suitable for children.
FAQs
Are meals included and are there food options nearby?
The cost on Airbnb is only for the accommodation. We have a number of nearby meal options from cooks within the Paramin community. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner on request and even deliver the meals to Paramin Sky directly. All contact information is shared with confirmed guests.
Do you provide transport?
We work with a number of reliable drivers and share their contact information with you. You can then directly book your transportation with them.
Can we book 1 night?
Currently we have a 2 night minimum booking requirement. The fast turn over of 1 night stays increases wear and tear on the property and laundry, and also doesn’t allow guests to properly unwind and enjoy the Paramin Sky experience as it was designed. We truly believe guests are best served when they stay 2 nights or more.
Can we have a late check-out?
This is dependent on if we have any guests arriving the same day. If we have a guest arriving for 4pm check-in, then we need access to the space immediately from 12 midday in order to clean thoroughly.
Can we have an early check-in?
This is dependent on if the previous guest left the space earlier to allow us to start our cleaning earlier than normal. Typically if a guest checks out at 11am, we need the full period of time till 4pm in order to clean the space thoroughly.
If you do have a flight and wish to leave your luggage and then explore Paramin or the North Coast, we can store your luggage until check in at 4pm.
Guest access
You have exclusive access to Paramin Sky Suite which includes its own private rooftop area. Rental also includes 1 secure parking spot in the garage.
