Dee made me feel most welcome. It was like visiting with a long lost friend. We really had a nice morning; drinking coffee and taking Sammy for walks. I learned a lot about the neighborhood history, very nice neighborhood. It was foggy so I did not get to see the view but you are at the top of a hill. I want to come back soon!
Dee was so incredibly welcoming and gracious, going above and beyond to answer our questions and help us navigate the city. Her home is stunningly beautiful and she is warm, welcoming, and a delight to converse with. Sammy is a cutie! This was my first experience with AirBnB and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience! Dee made our trip to San Francisco absolutely wonderful, thank you so much!
It was my first time using Airbnb and my first time in San Francisco. Dee was a wonderful host, I was coming from a bicycle tour and she made me feel absolutely at home. Her place is very convenient to local transportation and Dee has a very welcoming and warm personality. Her home is very clean and a very charming home.
Dee was kind enough to accommodate my situation as I had to disassemble my bike and ship it back home, she was kind enough to let me use her garage and even had offered me a ride to the train station to the airport the day I was leaving.
Thanks Dee for making my experience in San Francisco a memorable one. It's nice to know that there are genuinely nice strangers out there that will make you feel at home when you are far from home. I will definitely stay with Dee again if I ever visit San Francisco again.
It was a great experience staying in Dee's classic house. I totally agree with Mark Twain who probably warned the summer (or winter?) of San Francisco. Classic house, great neighbor (one of the Uber drivers described as the heaven) and great host! Hope I could get another chance to stay here!
It was a pleasure staying at Dee's historic house. The room is very large to accommodate my parents and I. Great ocean view from the window. Actually the whole neighborhood is really nice. Dee is considerate. She provided us all the information we need and she even brought newest released DVDs for my father. The experience is a great memory.
From start to finish, this was a great choice and a great experience. Dee was more than welcoming and very helpful in getting me settled and taking care of my needs (we even shared a take away Chinese together).
The house and the neighbourhood were both spectacular. If you feel the need for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, then Dee's is a great option.
The room was very spacious, well furnished and most importantly in the chilly san Francisco weather - it was always warm!
I split my trip between two different accommodations, (one week downtown, one week at Dee's). Staying in an old town house that is literally STEEPED in history (with great views) definitely added to my overall experience of the city.
I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable and relaxed base away from the city centre.
Staying at Dee's place was awesome! Dee is so sweet and accommodating, and the house is beautiful. I had a private room/bathroom and felt comfortable coming and going as I pleased without bothering anyone. I also enjoyed the neighborhood, as it's easy to get anywhere in the city, but quiet and residential at the same time. I was able to leave my car parked on the street and Uber most places without any problems.
