The Space

If you are looking to experience an authentic Williamsburg Brooklyn lifestyle in a beautiful and comfortabel loft, then look no more! (Caution- you may not want to leave!!)

Freshly redone bathroom.

Of course we have a kitchen with all the appliances and a comfortable living area with nice ceilings and exposed brick wall. Your room is about 3x3 meters with a lofted full size bed that sleeps 2 people comfortably. Lofted bed means it is higher than normal and you can stand under it to save space. This is the true Brooklyn Williamsburg experience!

+ Rooftop access with 360 view
+ Guide books and maps
+ MOMA membership feel free to use- free admission- great discount on books and gifts

Other benefits include epic rooftop space with complete 360 view including Manhattan skyline. and the fastest internet in New York. There is laundry located in the building!

Less than 1 Block to JMZ Trains, and walking distance to all that Williamsburg has to offer. There are great restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping! Trendy bars on the same block! Excellent restaurant Moto 1 block away (as featured in the HBO tv show "Boardwalk Empire"). Very safe neighborhood- friendly bodegas on the corner where you can get beers and snacks to consume on the roof at sunset!

We have brand new super comfortable full size mattresses in the rooms! This is a great oasis to enjoy after a day exploring Brooklyn and NYC!

A little bit about Williamsburg:

In the last ten years, Williamsburg has evolved from a mostly industrial warehouse neighborhood into an enclave of vintage boutiques, foodie eats, electronic music venues and Michelin restaurants.

This is the real deal Brooklyn loft living situation. 12 foot ceilings. Floor to ceiling windows.

(Loft and Roof are Available for Film and Photo Shoot, please inquire)

  • Everything worked out well staying at mathieu's place. He was easy to get a hold of and the place was as it was described. If we need a place in Brooklyn we would be happy if his place was available

  • Communication with Mathieu was great and it's tough to find an affordable place with 4 bedrooms in Williamsburg so we were satisfied. That said, the apartment was very noisy, the windows are literally 3 metres from an above ground train-stop and the floors/walls are thin so you can here various neighbours and their trance/jazz/classic rock for much of the night.

  • Mat was the perfect host, who provided an accurate and positive description of the apartment. His communication and response time were always impeccable which made it feel like a secure, reliable booking from the start.
Overall a super stay and a highly commendable host.

  • The apartment was perfect for a group of girls taking new york by storm.

There was plenty of room for six of us and we enjoyed the communal space.

Williamsburg is a great area and we loved brunching there. It was very easy to get into Manhattan.

Mathieu responded to our requests promptly and professionally.

  • The loft was exactly as advertised. Very simple. Very basic. It was clean and in a perfect location for exploring Brooklyn. We were a group of 8 and it was great. We all had a room. The lock box on the front made it easy for us to come and go. There wasn't a ton of room for us to hang out in the loft - we should have gone up to the roof, but Brooklyn called, so we all set out to explore. I'd recommend this place for a large group who plan to be out and about. If you're a downtown dweller like we are, the noise and location felt like we were right at home. Plus, Mathieu was always available - but we didn't need him!

  • This place is amazing. Right in the heart of Williamsburg, less than a block from the J and M trains, less than 10 minute walk to Greenpoint and the Hudson. Bodega right on the corner. Very spacious, lots of places to sleep. I would definitely come back here.

    Thanks Mathieu!

  • Stayed here for 7 nights. Big, basic, 4 bedroom apartment. Perfect spot for anyone who is spending most of their time seeing the sights and nights of NYC rather than being inside. 2 minute walk to the M line train and only a short 20 minute walk to bedford ave where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Mathieu responded to any questions quickly and gave great instructions. Thanks for having us and would definitely stay here again.

  • Conveniently located with trains into the city right outside the door. You can hear the trains but they didn't bother us. Spacious and basic apartment with comfy beds. Don't expect anything luxurious. It's got all we needed for our long weekend: bathroom, 4 rooms and kitchen with living area. Excellent Rooftop with great views! Shops & bars of Williamsburg just some 10 minutes walk away. Mathieu is extremely quick to reply to emails. Make sure you try the food at the Moto just 1 block away, it's awesome!
The only downside was that the apartment wasn't very clean when we arrived, we had to give it a thourough cleaning. Additionally, the upstairs neighbour is very loud letting her dog run through the apartment at nighttime.
Nevertheless, I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to people who are looking for a basic apartment with easy access to Manhattan & Williamsburg.

    Response from Mathieu:

Hi Yasmin, Thanks for your feedback, it was a pleasure having you guys over! Again, my apologies if the apartment wasn't up to par that day in terms of cleanliness, it was a new cleaner's first time and he overlooked a few of my instructions. These things are 100% taken care of now. We've talked to the neighbors upstairs and the landlord and that's now also no longer an issue, and the dog is no longer there either. I hope you guys come back some time! Cheers

  • We stayed here during easter 2014, it is a typical, definitely not luxurious New Yorker apartment, the subway runs right outside the windows, but we were actually surprisingly little bothered by the sound. Mathieu is easy to get in touch with and super sweet to fix the small problems the apartment featured in our week. - I can recommend this apartment.
