You’ll love your escape to our tiny house! (387 square feet of main floor space plus loft). It is a modern, clean, secluded retreat located in a forested area of a quiet neighborhood between Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata and scenic coastlines and majestic redwoods. 2025 update: all new staircase for easier access to the loft.

The space
A secluded and quiet little house, it is a comfortable and cozy place to rest between adventures on the North Coast and is well suited for longer stays. It has a queen bed in the loft and a sofa bed in the main room. The loft looks down on the kitchen portion of the main room, and it has a peaked roof that somewhat restricts movement within the space (especially for tall folks). A washer and dryer are in the bathroom. Wi-Fi and a smart tv are provided. Our goal is for you to have a trouble free, enjoyable lodging experience. We will try to anticipate the many simple "needs/wishes" of travelers and provide "the little things" not expected.

The tiny house is privately located off our driveway with its own on-site parking. Our home is situated a stones throw beyond the tiny house.

The tiny house is located on the same one acre property as our home, in a quiet neighborhood where we have lived for ages (and raised our kids). The tiny house was our shed/workshop until the remodel/add-on was completed in August 2016.
