Relax outside on the cabin's large private deck, or lounge inside in the cozy sunroom. This is a perfect spot if you’re attending one of the many weddings held across the street at Silver Birches! It has wi-fi, Roku TV, air-conditioning, heat, full-size appliances, utensils, pans, coffee maker & more! Strictly no pets, no smoking.

The space
Enjoy the lovely cabin with access to wi-fi and Roku TV. Many guests also enjoy relaxing in the cozy sunroom as the sun sets. ** PLEASE NOTE: The Paupack Shack is now Black! The update was a much-needed exterior paint-protective coating that provides a beautiful backdrop for the natural surroundings. This means that some of the listing photos are out of date in order to showcase some of the other seasons the cabin goes through. This new cosmetic change will not affect the quality of your stay! The house address is off of the big lake's frontage road, so while the cabin is not lakefront--it is very close and you can see the lake from the house. Just a mile or so up the way guests can visit Palmyra Township Public Beach (with sand!) or Wilsonville Recreation Area.
Within a 30-mile radius or so are many other hikes and outdoor activities including hiking waterfalls at Bushkill Falls (28mi) or Shohola Falls (16mi), and skiing at Big Bear at Masthope Mountain (16 mi).
After a fun-filled day, relax and dine across the street at The Dock (overlooking the lake!) at Silver Birches or at the nearby Boathouse a quarter-mile up the road.

Any shopping needs can be met 3 miles up the road in the town of Hawley where you can find grocery stores, fabulous restaurants, antique shops and more!
