ATV trail central! The Den is a cozy, rustic family cabin located in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest and within minutes of several popular ATV trailheads. The Den sleeps up to 6 guests in 6 beds with 1 full bathroom, kitchen, W/D combo and small creek through the property. Centrally located to Marienville, Sheffield, Kane and Ridgeway. Relax by the fire pit or cruise a few minutes down the gravel road via ATV to Pig's Ear ATV trailhead. A cozy ANF cabin off the beaten path.

The space
The cabin has a large bedroom with king bed and sitting area with TV and futon. The middle bedroom has a double bed and bunk bed. The loft area features a twin bed and double bed and a sitting area. The bathroom has a large shower unit and a washer/dryer combo that guests are welcome to use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and make coffee. The cabin sits on 1 acre and has a small creek running through the property and a trail to a larger creek at the back of the property. Outdoor seating area, BBQ grill, and fire pit complete the experience!

This cabin offers the perfect balance of rustic charm and essential amenities. Guests will enjoy comfortable beds, hot water, a full bathroom, heating and air conditioning, and a well-equipped living space — all nestled in a quiet, natural setting.

However, please keep in mind that this is a rustic property by design. While you’ll have the conveniences of modern living, the cabin retains its authentic, back-to-basics atmosphere — think natural wood finishes, simple furnishings, and limited cell service depending on your carrier.

This is an ideal spot for travelers seeking peace, nature, and a slower pace, rather than luxury finishes or hotel-style perfection. If you love the idea of being immersed in the forest with the comforts you need, but not the extras you don’t, this cabin is for you.

Guests can use entire cabin. There is a locked area underneath the cabin that is not accessible to guests, as we use it for storage.
