Thank you Joan!
Everything worked out just great. We were there for just one night, but felt very welcome. Hardy the dog was a lot of fun! The house is located on very quite street but still pretty close to fun bars and restaurants.
Tiki bar was a hit ;)
Thank you again Joan!
We had a great time at Joan's tiki bar! Joan is very welcome and she gave us a lot of advices! The house is nice. It's close to Sanibel and fort Myers beach with the car.
Joan was fantastic to communicate with. She replied very quickly and was great with her advice. I made this booking by accident.
It was a nice stay. Joan is a wonderful lady. We really felt comfortable staying with her. She is nice, helpful and talkative. The room was beautiful and her dog was awesome. A big cutie.
The area was nice we were able to park next to the house. It was a great stay.
We could not have had a better experience at Joan's. Our rental car did not work out on our first day there so Joan offered to pick us up right at the air port. We knew as soon as we got into the car that we were going to absolutely love Joan… and we were so right! First off, she is hilarious and she is so welcoming into her home and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. The first night there she showed us around and even gave us a list of places to try out during our stay there! Joan introduced us to some locals and they were just as friendly. This was our first time using AirBndB and what a great experience it was.
The room that we stayed in was very clean and the closet was big enough to fit two 23 year olds clothes in... Which can be quite a bit! The house itself is adorable and in a very safe neighborhood.
Hardy is one of the most laid back friendliest dog you will ever come into contact with and Cookie Dough, although we did not see her much she was just as adorable.
Once again we could not have had a better experience and look forward to seeing Joan, Hardy, and Cookie Dough again in the near future. I really wish we could have stayed longer!
Joan is a warm and welcoming host. The neighborhood is very quiet, very lovely and close to the Yacht Club and fine dining. My room and bathroom were quiet. Joan had plenty of the amenities that make a stay so comfortable; toiletries, good coffee and bakery for breakfast.
Staying with Joan truly is an experience! While the house, your room and the bathroom are in very good shape the host is what makes this stay so unique. Weeks before we arrived Joan gave us lots of tips and helped us with every question we had. Joan knows her surroundings like nobody else and is more than willing to give you all the tips you need. From great restaurants to activities. While you stay with her, her house is yours and she will give you access to anything you need, providing you with breakfast and more. We definitely would stay with Joan again. Thank you.

The historic Seaboard Air Line railway station is home to the Museum. The station was built in 1926 during the Seaboard's push into South Florida to compete with Henry Flagler's Florida East Coast Railway. The building is a fine example of the Mediterranean style architecture of the era, with its arched entryway, stucco walls, and barrel tile roof. It is one of the few remaining structures to display the look of old Deerfield. The structure was listed as a Historic Site with the State of Florida Department of Archives in 1974 and earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.For many years the station and surrounding area were an important produce shipping center, with farmers from Pompano to Lake Okeechobee renting warehouses.
