SPRING SPECIAL: DISCOUNTS IN MARCH
This super rad 1 bedroom apt is right in the middle of Seattle's hippest neighborhood with fantastic nightlife, culture, hipsters, art, coffee, food & the best music scene.
Hi! Come stay in my awesome, centrally-located, Cap Hill apartment!
The 700 square foot, quiet apartment with lots of windows is on the second floor (no elevator) of a small 10-unit building with a gated entry & private entrance. It boasts a full bath & full kitchen (coffee & tea provided) with a dishwasher. There is a giant, comfy KING SIZED BED, an arm chair, couch, a kitchen table, lots of light & even a porch area to sit outside. I'm on the west side of Cap Hill, which is slightly more residential & quiet, so light sleepers will still be happy - even though it's in the middle of the city.
I own a transmedia marketing company and represent video game and pop culture brands. I fell in love with Capitol Hill when I moved here 5+ years ago. I'm happy to give recommendations for my guests before and/or during your trip. I love this city!
While you're here, enjoy my art collection featuring works by famed regional artists (many of which are dear friends) including Justin Hampton, Jeff "weirdo" Jacobson & Jeremiah "dear earthling" Hammer as well as Tara McPherson, Glen Barr, Andrew Bawidamann, Ben Templesmith, Khang Le, Camilla d'Errico, Joel Siegel, Scott Blair & more.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment: kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom. While I often host guests at the apartment, it is also my home - so my clothes, personal effects and food are in the dressers, drawers, closets and cabinets. I ask that you please respect this. Thanks in advance!
Interaction with Guests
I generally stay out of the guest's way during the stay. However, I'm always available if anything comes up. And I've definitely been known to hang out & have some fun with guests if they'd like!
I am located right in the middle of Capitol Hill.
Beware of other similar postings who "claim" to be on Capitol Hill! A locals definition of "The Hill" is east of Melrose, west of 19th, south of Aloha, north of Union.
I'm within walking distance to EVERYTHING. Really!
Walk Score: 95
How long of a walk to...
-The happenin' Broadway Ave - 1 block east
- The famous Pike/Pine Corridor - 2 blocks south - home of the Capitol Hill Block Party
- Downtown Seattle - 10 minutes
- Pike Place Market - 15 minutes
- Washington State Convention Center - 10 minutes
- Bus stops to downtown/Pioneer Square or University District - 2 blocks north
Getting here from SEA-TAC airport...
It's roughly a 20 minute drive, a $45 taxi ride or a $2.50 ride on the Link Light Rail Train, which leaves right from the terminal. If you take the train, take it to the last stop: Westlake Center, which is 5th & Pike St. in downtown Seattle. From there, you can:
- walk 10/15 minutes up the hill to the apartment or
- grab a taxi the rest of the 1 mile journey or
- take a bus from 4th & Pike ($2.50/person). There are lots of options all dropping off 2 blocks away:
#43 bus to Olive & Summit,
#10 or #11 or #49 to Pine & Summit,
#47 bus to Summit & Olive.
I'm happy to help with any questions.
On-street parking is available nearby (although it can be difficult to find), as well as a paid lot right behind the apartment - and others nearby. However, it can be expensive and you definitely don't need a car in this neighborhood. Unless you need one for something specific, I actually don't recommend the hassle of a car. When on Cap Hill, do as the Cap Hill-ers do - and enjoy the neighborhood on foot. :)

Have a great time!
Danielle was a great host who provided detailed instructions and was communicative. Her place is exactly as described and in a good neighborhood, with a few nice touches she doesn't even mention in the description. Would stay again, and highly recommend.
We truly had a great experience at Danielle's spot. The apartment was clean and ready for our arrival, she left very detailed check-in and check-out instructions, and above all the location is fantastic. We walked everywhere (Pike's Place, Space Needle, Gates Foundation, Capital Hill neighborhood, etc.) without a problem. I recommend this place.
Very easy to communicate with, pictures are accurate, cozy for our needs!
Danielle's place was lovely. Self check-in was very convenient! The place was clean and nice! Couch was comfy. There were little notes with all the instructions I needed everywhere. Location was great too -- walkable to the tech buildings across I-5 and also near cute cafes and coffeeshoppes and the nightlife of Capitol Hill.
Danielle did an excellent job providing everything that you could need. She had maps, towels, ponchos, directions, tips, etc all ready to go for you! She was very responsive to any questions/texts during the stay and I could not have been any happier.
This is a great location for staying in Capitol Hill. It’s a really functional & pleasant place to stay. Danielle was an excellent host in providing thorough support & instruction around finding the apartment & getting settled. Danielle was very prompt in corresponding—I really appreciated that. I’d be pleased to be a guest in this fun location again.

I'm a caffeine-loving, firecracker of a conversationalist who resides on Capitol Hill in Seattle. I run my own company providing transmedia marketing for the video game and entertainment industries. I enjoy travelling, reading, volun-tourism, connecting with others, animals, knee socks and hipster-watching. I laugh a lot and am admittedly a bit ridiculous.
