Have you ever dreamed of going on holidays at the end of the world? Or do you simply want to relax in the beautiful fishing village Sardineiro after having walked the “Camino de Santiago"? Well this will be your dream come true.
The flat is situated in the first floor of a building complex right at the beach which was constructed in the year 2008. The flat offers everything you may need to have an enjoyable holiday on roughly 60 square meters.

The most important facilities:

• Fully equipped kitchen
• Microwave
• Juice Squeezer
• Coffee machine
• Washing machine
• Tumble dryer
• Cable TV
• Fully equipped shower bath
• Two single beds
• Build- in wardrobe
• Large dining table

Sardineiro is situated just about 7 kilometres away from Fisterra and therefore the end of the “Camino de Santiago" and boast with many sightseeing spots nearby. Finisterre itself is definitely one of them with the beautiful fishing harbour and the fish auction hall. The famous waterfall in Ezaro is situated a couple of kilometres down south.

The easiest way to get to the flat are the two airports in Santiago de Compostela and La Coruna. There are frequent bus connection from both cities.

I am always happy to support you in any way as I know the „Costa da Morte“ very well and can always help you with things to do.

And here a little text to dream on:

Playa Estorde – A bastion of calm
The weather conditions around the Cape Finisterre are as difficult as around most capes. Especially the southern winds favour heavy swells. To circle the cape from north to south under sail can be very difficult. […]

European Sailing- Information system, district information

No alarm clock. No street noise. No appointments. Only wind, cliffs and the eternal surge of the Atlantic. Welcome to the end of the world!

You can even sea it when you wake up and take a look out to the north: a steep cliff crowned by a big lighthouse. Cape Finisterre one of the most westerly points of Europe.

But this can wait. Shake of the sleepiness first – maybe with a beach walk? The beach is just outside the front door.

Could there be anything more beautiful than losing your sight within the constant rolling of the breaking sea? You have travelled a couple of thousand miles and finally you have arrived at this breath-taking coastline.

Once you have taken a good look at this beautiful scenery follow the crescent shaped beach and please do not forget your wallet.

The fishing vessels of Estorde have just ran into the harbour. The whole of Spain would come down to Galicia in order to enjoy the seafood of the region – prawns, octopus, mussels, sardines, halibut and gilthead sea bream freshly caught!

And all this directly from the vessel. You'll get the aroma of kelp, fish and saltwater on top for free. So lets put all this into the frying pan or wait – do you want to get some breakfast first? Lets head to one of the numerous harbour bars for some “Café con leche".

Now lets quickly get back to the booty. All you have to do now is to get the barbeque going.

The delicious treasures are already cooking on the barbeque but you still have a job to do! In the holidays? Yes that's right it's a question of hospitality. Just put a large bucket of fresh water outside the door.

Why all this? Well the last stage of the world famous “Camino de Santiago" passes just by the road and the exhausted pilgrims should find some fresh water in order to fight the thirst.

The world renown walk officially ends in Santiago de Compostela, but behind the holy site the pilgrimage continues right to the end of the world.

Only a few people know this and there this route is an insider just like your residence..

After lunch you may but don't have to start activities. There are lots to choose from – hiking, sailing, kayaking, horse riding or climbing.

If you are looking for a good place to have dinner the hotel restaurant „Playa de Estorde“ is always worth a visit and is situated just at the end of beach. And there only is one restaurant around. Well everything around the end of the world is very scares!

Guest Access

Please feel free to use all appliances in the flat. You will also have access to the private garden of the community with an outdoor shower.

Interaction with Guests

I will be around during the summer months and will happily assist you with any question you may have. If I am not there please reach out to Tonito the owner of the bar Cabanel if you have any questions regarding the surrounding. He will be happy to assist and by the way offers great food and drinks.

The Neighborhood

Sardineiro is a very little village but you will pretty much find anything there that you will need for a perfect holiday. A great beach with a playground, many great restaurants and even a small supermarket.
