Casa Isabella is a lovely B&B located in a nice residential area. The rooms we stayed in were spacious and clean. The bathroom need a little TLC but clean and spacious as well. I don't recall if the rooms had air, but we didn't need it. Some street noise, dogs barking mostly. Roberto our host was a gem. Since our flight was to arrive at 11:57 PM he arranged a shuttle for the fair price of $30. Our driver Javier was very charming and informative. Our plans were to rent a car in the morning, which we were a little nervous about due to car rental reviews. Roberto to the rescue again. The car was delivered to us at the Casa. Needless to say all the arrangements were scheduled, postponed and rescheduled due to flight cancellation by the airline we were travel with. Roberto took care of everything. Not far from the airport, quite, clean and accommodating.

What a great place, wonderful hosting and perfect location! Thank you Roberto for making us feel so welcome as we landed in Costa Rica as well as on our way out! Casa Isabella is just as it is posted on the site, with a really nice breakfast and easy location in Escazu. Roberto was very helpful as we got situated coming to Costa Rica with quick responses to our questions. The house is indeed beautiful with a great view and perfect location for being in a quieter part of San Jose but a short drive to the city as well as easy access to Santa Ana (tolls) and the airport. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed again on our way back home. The neighborhood is really nice and there are a few places that are walkable within a kilometer. I highly recommend Casa Isabella and will definitely be staying again the next time we are in Costa Rica!

This is a nice place to stay and just outside San Jose. The room we had was huge with 2 queen beds, a sofa and a very large bathroom with jetted tub. It was clean and inviting. There is a living room when you walk in the BnB and a nice dining room where we served a traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The host is very accommodating, he even drove us to a nearby restaurant for dinner as it was already dark when we arrived. We did have a lot of trouble finding the bed and breakfast, so make sure you have good directions as there are no street addresses in Costa Rica.

Roberto is a gracious host. He is warm and personable in his manner and just a very pleasant person all around. We felt well taken care of, truly welcomed and he was also ready with information or to call a taxi as we needed. It made for a seamless visit though we had to coordinate a few things while there. He is knowledgeable and we valued his relaxed, yet competent and confident manner. There were lovely night breezes from our suite with a spectacular view of the city sparkling in the evening. We enjoyed our time while there at the Casa Isabella and would visit again when in Escazu. Thanks for being such a fine host!!

Casa Isabella is a beautiful home to stay and I would stay here again. After a long day in Panama and flying to Costa Rica, we arrived at the house relatively late which was not an issue at all. Although we were shown our room, we were not given much information such as wifi password, breakfast times, general area information. It was slightly frustrating since we didn't know how to contact anyone for help. The next morning, we finally were able to get in contact with Roberto, an extremely kind gentleman, who apologized and gave us all the information we needed. He Recommended a nearby lunch place for authentic Costa Rican food, a volcano to visit on our drive up to Arenal, and Doka coffee plantation for us to visit. All great places to visit. Breakfast was a simple scrambled eggs and ham with fruit and coffee. Nothing mind blowing but still very tasty. Although a few hiccups and a few issues with the room (a broken bed leg and broken tub tile that were not serious), the stay was comfortable and pleasant. I would find it hard to believe our few hiccups were a common occurrence at this bnb. A beautiful home and kind host like Roberto, was a great way to start our trip in Costa Rica. Next time I travel to San Jose, I will stay here again.

Roberto is a very pleasant friendly host. He went out of his way to be helpful, even came to pick us up when we couldn't find the place in the dark. The place was very clean and comfortable and with good free wi-fi. He offers help with ordering meals, provides drinks if you are too tired to go anywhere and also there is a good breakfast each morning. He is also able to help you with tours or a car if you need it. In all a great place to stay in Escazu.

Roberto was incredibly nice and accommodating to our group of 4. We arrived later in the evening and didn't get to Casa Isabella until 11pm, but Roberto had someone waiting with the keys and a welcome. Breafkast was delicious, the room was very comfortable, and Roberto gave use great advice on things to do and see while we were in Costa Rica. I would recommend this to anyone staying in San Jose. Especially good as a place to recharge after a long flight into CR or before heading home.

I am currently managing Casa Isabella B&B, in Bello Horizonte Escazu, where I have lived all my life! This is a quiet and conveniently located neighborhood, ideal for a long night sleep and relaxing!

I started this B&B and named it after my daughter Isabella; we love it here, love the neighborhood, the great view we have of the city and the conveniences of the location. We have 7 spacious rooms for rent, all with a private bathroom.

Our beautiful home is in Escazu, a San Jose neighborhood, just 15 minutes from the international airport.

We would love to welcome you in our home.

Regards,
P.S.
