Gracias Francois!!!
My boyfriend and I were not able to meet Mark; however, Francois was super friendly. The night we checked-in, Francois sat down with us and gave us great restaurant/bar/cafe recommendations. It really helped us not fall into those tourist traps! He also provided us maps and a guide book. Francois was very helpful and laid back.
The apartment is close to the metro station and Las Ramblas. In addition, there was a whole street full of tapa bars and restaurants less than one block away. Francois provided all the amenities we needed for our stay - towels, bath necessities, hair dryer, etc. He was even so nice to set out coffee cups and cereal bowls in the morning!
Francois welcomed us and was extremely friendly and helpful towards . He gave us clean towels and showing all the common spaces of the house. The room was tidy and clean. We found the neighborhood quiet and very well supplied both from the point of view of stores and nightlife.
In general we enjoyed our stay and I think, in the future, we would gladly to come back to Mark and Francois.
Francois was a very welcoming and friendly host. He made me feel at home and provided me with information that only a local can know. The apartment was clean and cosy. The perfect place to discover the city on your own rythm!
My first airbnb experience and it was wonderful. I felt at home the minute I walked in. The apartment is exactly as shown in the picture: very stylish and the bedroom is clean and sunny. I didn't meet Mark but Francois is super friendly and welcoming. The location is also great --- good restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, a quick walk to the old town, and within 10min walk/minihike you'll have one of the most amazing sagrada familia views in the whole city. If you need a room in Barcelona and want to meet great people, book this one!!
