REVEIWER: I am a college student who stayed for 2.5 months while on an internship. I've never stayed in an airbnb before Arie, and I've also never lived in Baltimore before (I've lived in smaller cities only). Please take my background into account when reading my thoughts! TOTAL RATING: 4/5 STARS LOCATION: 4/5 STARS Nestled in Charles Village, Arie's place is a short 20 minute walk or a quick 5 minute bus ride to Penn Station, which is really convenient for MARC and light rail commuters. (The bus stop is 0.5 blocks away and services Citylink Silver and the Purple Circulator. ) The place is also a block away from a safeway and CVS, so that was very convenient. However, the neighborhood is a little sketchy, so as a single female, I never ventured alone outside at night. ROOM: 5/5 STARS My room was the red room on the second floor. With a good size bed, lounge chair, desk, dressers, night stand, mirrors, and private satellite TV, the furnishings were great. I also liked that my room locked. Although the lack of central A/C and heating was noticeable in my external - facing room, it was workable, and I felt the furnishings made up for this inconvenience. The room also had some street noise, but it didn't really bother me, as I'm a heavy sleeper. HOUSE: 3/5 STARS The house itself is rather old, so the floors and doors are rather creaky. The bathroom was rather dated, and was usually pretty dirty due to 2 other slobbish roomates. The kitchen was also pretty dirty because of those roomates. It seemed I was the only one really cleaning, which was a little irritating. The washer also went out mid-stay, and there was a pest problem, but these were mostly resolved. HOST: 5/5 STARS Arie was very responsive to both messages and calls, so I was very appreciative of that. He also lived upstairs, so he was usually nearby to settle any issues or answer questions. WOULD I RETURN? I think so. The room was very good, and since I'll probably only return to Baltimore for business, the location can't be beat! Thanks Arie for a good stay!

Great big room in a quiet house. High ceilings and colorful walls make this place feel like a mansion! Arie is great and takes care of things as they come up. Definitely recommend!

Arie was a great host! He was flexible, helpful and communicative during my three month stay. The red room was beautiful and huge, and all the essentials were provided. I also loved the spacious kitchen. Parking was always available either out front or close by. I felt safe walking to the train station during the day, and never had issues walking to the grocery store a block away in the evenings. That being said it is still in an urban setting and I wouldn't walk far alone at night, but that's my preference. I would definitely recommend staying here either short or long term!

All was well with this home away from home. Arrival was well coordinated and the host was accommodating with the flux in my arrival time. Room was nice and neat as pictured. I was pleasantly surprised at the the many and various other areas of the house that were free for me to use. Check out was simple as well. The host and his wife were pleasant and extremely helpful. I was a bit reticent with using AIRbNB domestically but this stay has eliminated my fears. Thanks a million and well done.
