At Jaladarshini we gladly provide accommodation in two tree huts, guests are also welcome to stay in rooms attached to the house. The baths are common and shared. Home cooked vegetarian food and local delicacies are the daily menu from the bio-fuel driven kitchen.
Jaladarshini is a farm house and a home stay, we promote Jaladarshini as a place to relax and unwind, a vacation that has no hard and fast paced activities. Yet one can indulge in farm activities, birding, swimming, walking the entire farm takes about half a day, spending a night by the river side on a moon lit evening is a must do.
Life jackets are provided for safety while on river.
Jaladarshini is connected by road and rail, nearest railway station Mandagere(MGF) is 3 KMs away and connects to Mysore and Hassan. The home stay is en-route to Belur-Halebeedu from Mysore, and close to Jain pilgrimage center Shravanabelagula.
Jaladarshini is 75 KMs from Mysore, 21 KMs from Shravanabelagula, 80 KMs from Belur-Halebeedu, 52 KMs from Hassan and 175 KMs from Bangalore.
During your stay you may take a walk in the expanse of this Organic farm, learn about Organic cultivation, you may spend time by the river side, You may pick a book from our little library, if you are the reading type.
Other Things to Note
* In the months of Nov - Feb it will be cold during evenings and night, warm clothes are required.
* Life vests are provided if you go for a swim in the river, but you must exercise extra caution. This is natural flowing water and not a city swimming pool.
* It is advised to bring mosquito repellent, comes handy during the evenings.
