The space

This appartment is a special treat. Cozy but modern furnished and located in a surrounding you won't find in any hotel. The place was clean and everything was provided. The locals were helpful finding the one who looked after the keys. It was Paola, a friendly neighbour who spoke fluently italian ;) A the others noted, a car is essential, but the upside is that you are located in the middle of several attractive sights and cities like Florence (1h), Siena (30 mins), Pienza and Montepulciano or Trasimeno Lake. Even Lucca and Pisa are not that far away. Overall we had a nice stay and on the last day Paola offered us some delicious local grapes. Five stars.

We had a wonderful visit to Francesca apartment. It is so cute, clean and quaint. As previous reviewers have shared it is in a hill town which is not right next to a grocery store or dining. This was good for us, we were ready for some home cooking and where able to fix meals there, all the necessities had been provided. A couple times I called and spoke to Francesca's husband, he speak English, to ask some questions, he was extremely kind and helpful. The lady who does the cleaning does not speak any English, so that is why I contacted him. The apartment is well taken care of by her. It was the perfect place for us to visit the hill towns, we felt it was quite central to most places. Thank you again for the lovely visit.

Charming cottage in charming historic village in beautiful setting. Only shame was we had such a short stay. Would certainly recommend, particularly as a base for exploring surrounding area.

This place is Wonderful! We have stayed here twice and have loved it both times. The apartment is very Charming and comfortable and it's in a cute and quiet walled Tuscan town. If you are looking for a relaxing stay away from a lot of tourists this is your place. Its also a great home base for exploring other southern Tuscan towns. Can't wait to stay here again !

This is a very neat location a short distance outside of Sinalunga. It is a little tricky to locate, as with many locations in Tuscany, so follow the directions carefully! Much of the excitement of our journey in Tuscany came from the drive into Rigomagno (where the apartment is located) and our stay in town. Rigomagno is a small village situated on top of hill with a close-knit community of roughly 100 people. We enjoyed exploring the town and chatting with the locals, and we were even lucky enough to celebrate Primo Maggio with a festive community-style dinner. Francesca and her husband were especially accommodating. They provided directions (and additional directions!) at many points throughout our journey to Rigomagno. The apartment is clean, well decorated and well equipped. It can get a tad cold in the evenings, so we would recommend turning the hit up a bit. Overall, a wonderful and unique place to stay!

The location is perfect! Charming and romantic, perfect home location for exploring the hill towns of Tuscany. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Very quiet small town. We enjoyed hearing the bells ring during the day. Sinalunga is very close and provides plenty of shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. I hope to come back sometime!

What a wonderful apartment in a beautiful town! Aided by the kindness of some local residents, we found out where to go (as our maps were digital, and not accessible). We spent out time walking in the area, speaking with the residents of Rigomagno, and traveling to other local hill towns (Sienna, Montepulciano, others), and enjoying the relaxing environment. If you're considering this BNB, consider no more: it's wonderful (and convenient to the highway, etc).
