Rated Meublé de Tourisme 4 stars and situated in the château courtyard, this newly-renovated 4 bedroom self-contained home of 126m2 is ideal for a break with family and friends. Enjoy the surrounding park and shared pool, you can also book a private slot in our hot tub! Step-free access to ground floor bedroom & accessible bathroom. Only 5km from historic Vichy. Air con. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area. Access via a ramp. Outdoor dining space. WiFi.

The space
The Château de Champagnat is a 14th Century maison-forte, set in 2.5 ha of beautiful parkland. You can walk and picnic in the grounds. La Lodge is newly-renovated and has it's own outdoor eating area with views over the surrounding countryside. It has it's own private entrance, ramp access to the ground floor consisting of spacious lounge/diner, fully equipped kitchen with Tassimo coffee machine, 1 double bedroom, 1 accessible bathroom and workspace.

Upstairs you'll find three further bedrooms in the eves of the house, and a bathroom.

There is one other gîte onsite for 2 people.

Guest access
In addition to your own private accommodation, guests can use the outdoor pool (shared with owners, and any other visitors), open June-September from 10h00-22h00). Enjoy the park, and reserve your private use of the hot tub by appointment (private slots available all year round from 10h00-19h00), the hot tub can be used by up to 4 people at a time.

Other things to note
There are ponds and a well on the property.

The hot tub is located in a separate building. All sessions are private to you, and can be reserved in advance.

For parties of up 10 people, you can also rent Le Pigeonnier which sleeps 2 in one double bed. Le Pigeonnier is not suitable for animals, babies, children or people with limited mobility due to its access steps and spiral staircase.

Electric vehicle charging is currently not possible at the Château, and we will supply a list of local charging stations, should you need it.
