The neighborhood was beautiful: trees, creeks.
The house was beautiful. And the room was bright, clean, well-decorated. I would highly recommend my family and friends to stay with Linda in the future if they happen to be in the five-college area.
Linda and I also had great conversations about the surrounding areas, real estate, and life in general. She's a great listener and conversationist. Gave me lots of interesting perspectives!
A friend and I stayed at Linda's for five nights. We found her to be very nice and interesting to converse with. Each morning we had a breakfast of yogurt, blueberries, granola and coffee. We declined pastries.
Her home is lovely with lots of natural light and a beautiful deck overlooking a lovely natural setting.
We loved her location because it was central to many nice towns. The scenic country roads were beautiful.
Linda gave us lots of information on fun and interesting things to do in the area, unfortunately, we were so busy going to the Brimfield Antique and Flea Market that we couldn't fit it all in. The restaurants in the towns were great!
Linda is very friendly and the house is beautiful! The view out the dining room is really even more impressive than previous visitors had led me to believe. You're a little bit away from anything and you certainly couldn't want to any restaurants, but if you're looking to be in a quiet neighborhood near a state park, this is just about perfect.
We had a pleasant stay at The Brooke. The house is lovely, as was the room, and Linda was a welcoming hostess. The breakfast was simpler than those at other B&Bs, but quite good - and in fact my wife and I don't always enjoy consuming enormous B&B breakfasts every morning, so it was actually a relief. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is a very nice view of the Bachelor Brook. One thing guests may wish to keep in mind is that one of the two rooms is very much light-filled in the morning. The second room is smaller but easier to keep dark. This may matter if you are light-sensitive.
This place is beautiful and a short drive to Amherst. There is a picturesque creek behind the windows in back of the house. It is also spotless, and the hostess was nice, and made us a great breakfast with fresh blueberries.
The Brooke is an amazing B&B. The house is beautifully designed in a traditional style but with all modern comforts. And the view is phenomenal. It is conveniently located very close to Mount Holyoke and Hampshire College - and an easy drive to all of the other area colleges.
Linda is everything you could hope for in a host. She is friendly, relaxed and helpful but also respectful of guest privacy.
I have already planned my next stay at the Brooke!!
Linda's home was beautiful and she made us feel welcome offering many suggestions on places to eat and explore. Highly recommend.

About the Host, Linda
Recent retirement has sparked interest in hosting and sharing this lovely home. We moved to this bucolic setting 3 years ago. While enjoying the quiet and beauty it affords, staying active and connected is important. Linda enjoys yoga, workouts with friends, live music and dancing, art movies and shopping. All can be easily accessed within a few miles. Wesley still works and in his spare time, stays active running, imbibing in craft beer, and doing the outside chores. We have many years-worth of knowledge about "the valley" and are happy to share!
