Apartment, 55 sqm. with balcony, cozy even for families with children, supplied with some toys and games.
Near the house there is a park with outdoor swimming pool!
The apartment is in the multiethnic area of the city just outside the city center, in a district with all amenities.
Just below the house there is a cafe-tobacco shop with tables equipped with everything, a supermarket and the 557-bus stop that in 5 minutes takes you to the Metro-line "A" that runs through the center town up to the Vatican.
The apartment is in a green quiet residential complex with doorman and availability of controlled and covered parking (not very big).
The apartment has a living room with sofa bed (new for those who have already been a guest!) large1,50mt.-2persons, a large bedroom with 4 beds (1 double bed + bunk bed), bathroom, usable kitchen-dinning room with balcony.
The house is equipped with everything you need for sleeping, washing and cooking.
The apartment is all for you.
This is a house, not a hotel, so I want to be clear about the fact that, as in many homes, some things may not be perfect or not standardized.
To avoid surprises, I would tell even things that may not work well for some of you:
-The doorbell of the house does not currently work.
-heating is communal, so it works only from autumn to early spring, but there is an electric heater available for any need.
-in bathroom, the ceiling is a little spoiled in a point due to a damage of the tenant of the upper floor.
-the water heater is not large, so if you plan to use a lot of hot water must then wait for it to recharge.
There is internet WiFi flat.
Location and connections:
The "house of Martha" (55 square metres), on the edge of the center of Rome and facing the archaeological site of Alessandrino Aqueduct (third century AC), allows easy access to all the most important historical sites and monuments of Ancient Rome
(just downstairs the apartment you find the Bus557 terminus-stop that takes you in 5 minutes to the Metro line-A station: it crosses all the historical center of the town up to Vatican Church; otherwise on Casilina street you can take bus 105 or a small urban surface-train "Laziali" up to Termini station in the center of the town),
as well as to enjoy the many parks of historic, scenic and recreational interest:
*300m. Villa De Sanctis: jogging.
*1,0km. Parco Tor Fiscale - Ancient Roman (website hidden) Felice.
*2,0km. Parco degli Acquedotti - Archeological park of Appia Antica.
*1,5km. Parco della Caffarella – Archeological park of Appia Antica.
I make bread at home with natural sourdough and I love to use the bike to move.
if the weather will be good we can arrange town-tours by bike organizing ourselves in time to rent bikes; we can go from home up to the center of the town biking through the parks of Appia Antica: a different point of view!
The whole house is available
The apartment is in the multi-ethnic neighborhood, on the edge of downtown, with all services.
Just below the house there is a bar-tobacco provided with tables outside, a supermarket and the bus stop 557 that,in 5 minutes, takes you to the Metro-line "A" that runs through the center until the Vatican.
Also, not far from the apartment, on saturday and sunday you can visit the "Catacombs of St. Marcellinus at Duas Lauros": The Catacombs cover an area of 18,000 square meters.
Public transports to the center city:
-bus557 (just below the house) in 5 minutes arrives to the Metro "A" which runs through the center going trough Termini (train station) until the Vatican.
-bus105: on Casilina street, arrives at Termini Station in 15 minutes. Cross the trambus that goes to the Colosseum.
-urban train "Laziali" on Casilina street, arrives at Termini Station in 15 minutes. Cross the trambus that goes to the Colosseum. At the end of the line is the terminus of the bus70 that arrives in Piazza Navona.
There is a covered private car park inside the complex.
Just like in the world, you will find what those before you have left, and those after you will find what you left them.
Cherish the house to make it "home" and be gentle with the objects.
Grazie!
We booked the house on our way to Rome and thankfully , Roberto was very responsive . He was extremely helpful in giving us instructions to the house when our GPS was experiencing some problems . He was very prepared and ready to provide us with information regarding the transportation and tourist spots within Rome . The house is quite near a bus stop and a few restaurants and supermarkets . However , bus tickets have to be bought at a metro station in advance as they arent available on the bus . On the day of our arrival , Roberto drove us to a nearby cafe to help us order our dinner. The house was exactly as it was explained on his list. Everything was available at the kitchen just that they were slightly old. We truly appreciated Roberto's friendliness and his hospitality. He was really caring and sincere in treating his guests.
The neighborhood was amazing! Roberto was very welcoming and made sure we knew how to get to popular sites.
I had an amazing time in Roma. The place felt like home and I really enjoyed my time in there. Roberto was great, open and ready to help. He picked me up at the metro to facilitate the integration and also pointed me in the right direction to town. But also he was interested in knowing more about me and we shared a coffee to talk a little. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
roberto was really helpful and made our stay in rome unforgettable. texted us as soon as we arrived at the airport, gave us exact directions to the apartment and helped also helped us with the sights in rome. can't get any better. thanks, roberto!

I make home-made bread in south Italy style(I'll let you taste) and when is possible I use the bike as a means of transport and for tours through the park of Appia Antica (follow me?). Music? reggae and beyond. Honesty and respect I consider fundamental.
