About this listing
Apartment, 55 sqm. with balcony, cozy even for families with children, supplied with some toys and games.
Near the house there is a park with outdoor swimming pool!
The apartment is in the multiethnic area of the city just outside the city center, in a district with all amenities.
Just below the house there is a cafe-tobacco shop with tables equipped with everything, a supermarket and the 557-bus stop that in 5 minutes takes you to the Metro-line "A" that runs through the center town up to the Vatican.
The apartment is in a green quiet residential complex with doorman and availability of controlled and covered parking (not very big the moving space, I park a Fiat Idea), but usually it's ok to park in the street just in front of the building.
The apartment has a living room with sofa bed (new for those who have already been a guest!) large1,50mt.-2persons, a large bedroom with 4 beds (1 double bed + bunk bed), bathroom, usable kitchen-dinning room with balcony.
The house is equipped with everything you need for sleeping, washing and cooking.
The apartment is all for you.
This is a house, not a hotel, so I want to be clear about the fact that, as in many homes, some things may not be perfect or not standardized.
To avoid surprises, I would tell even things that may not work well for some of you:
-The doorbell of the house does not currently work.
-heating is communal, so it works only from autumn to early spring, but there is an electric heater available for any need.
-in bathroom, the ceiling is a little spoiled in a point due to a damage of the tenant of the upper floor.
-the water heater is not large, so if you plan to use a lot of hot water must then wait for it to recharge.
There is internet WiFi flat.
Location and connections:
The "house of Martha" (55 square metres), on the edge of the center of Rome and facing the archaeological site of Alessandrino Aqueduct (third century AD), allows easy access to all the most important historical sites and monuments of Ancient Rome
(just downstairs the apartment you find the Bus557 terminus-stop that takes you in 5 minutes to the Metro line-A station: it crosses all the historical center of the town up to Vatican Church; otherwise on Casilina street you can take bus 105 or a small urban surface-train up to Termini station in the center of the town),
as well as to enjoy the many parks of historic, scenic and recreational interest:
*300m. Villa De Sanctis: jogging and open air swimmingpool
*1,0km. Parco Tor Fiscale - Ancient Roman Acquedotto Felice.
*2,0km. Parco degli Acquedotti - Archeological park of Appia Antica.
*1,5km. Parco della Caffarella – Archeological park of Appia Antica.
I make bread at home with natural sourdough and I love to use the bike to move.
if the weather will be good we can arrange town-tours by bike organizing ourselves in time to rent bikes; we can go from home up to the center of the town biking through the parks of Appia Antica: a different point of view!
The whole house is available

Also, not far from the apartment, on saturday and sunday you can visit the "Catacombs of St. Marcellinus at Duas Lauros": The Catacombs cover an area of 18,000 square meters.

Just like in the world, you will find what those before you have left, and those after you will find what you left them.
Cherish the house to make it "home" and be gentle with the objects.
the small park that connects home with via di Torpignattara - here you'll find a playground for childrens
About the Host, Roberto
Sometimes I make home-made barley bread in south Italy style (I'll let you taste if you want) and when is possible I use the bike as a means of transport and for tours through the parks of ancient roman Appian Way (I'm tour leader of a bike rental near the Colosseum for the tour of Appia Antica).
Music? reggae and beyond.
Honesty and respect I consider fundamental.
