Developed by Emaar Properties, Downtown Dubai has now become one of the most exclusive and popular locations in Dubai. Just a few of the attractions that can be found here include the Burj Khalifa (World's tallest building), the Dubai Mall (World's largest shopping mall - based on Built Up Area) and the spectacular Dubai Fountains.
The building was designed by the renowned architect Sir Frank William, it stands out from the rest of the towers that make up Downtown Dubai and the quality of the finishing is superior to other residential towers in the area. The development is located directly on the Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard (previously named the Emaar Boulevard) this development consists of two residential towers.
Many restaurants can also be found on the bottom of the towers creating a vibrant atmosphere and its proximity to the Dubai Mall provide guests with easy access to some of Dubai’s best restaurants, shops and attractions.
Downstairs from the apartment:
Step out the main entrance, and Burj Khalifa as well as the lake/fountains are steps away from you!
So are the following:

In this apartment, the lights for the smaller bedroom are located on a remote control which is attached to a large drawer unit in the room. Green buttons turn light on, red buttons turn light off.
Towels, high quality bed sheets and linens are provided with the room upon your booking.
There is no place on premises to store luggage before check in or after check out, but Terminals 2 and 3 have facilities available for your convenience.
If you have any other questions, please just get in contact! We look forward to meeting you and helping your stay in Dubai comfortable and memorable.
We want you to feel at home, and there are only a couple of house rules.
We ask that you do not smoke, bring pets or use the apartment for parties.
We also ask that you provide a photocopy of each guest’s passport when the reservation is confirmed.
Lost keys and access cards are expensive, so unfortunately this would result in a payment to replace them being deducted from your security deposit.
Nice flat in great location. Communication was really easy with Khadija. She responded back to all enquiries very quickly. Flat was clean and in a very nice building. I would definitely recommend this place.
Khadija was a fantastic host. Her apartment is beautiful, perfectly situated, and just as described. The pool area is lovely - huge with a great view of the Burj. The apartment is walking distance to the Dubai Mall and the Burj if you can stand the heat. It's also very convenient that there is a little grocery store just across the street. We had one issue with the Wi-Fi going out but Khadija addressed it immediately, even though it was late in the evening. She followed up until we got everything resolved. I would 100% recommend Khadija's space.
Khadija was a huge help getting everything set up. The location is fantastic, and close to everything . Beautifully furnished and comfortable - a very relaxing stay!
Perfect location and a wonderful apartment. Khadija is a brilliant organiser and responded to our needs super quickly. I would definitely recommend staying at her place
I stayed in the apartment for about a week with family (3 adults one child). I have moved into another property with Khadija (single bedroom).
To begin with,
The apartment is as in pictures. Well equipped for short stays and wonderful. The building has 3 pools, a lap pool, central pool where you can dunk around like a hippo and a gated toddlers pool. Setup is excellent.
Indoor play area is cute. Out door play area is lacking swings and slides that you may find in other buildings. Pool, TT there too.
Khadija is easy to reach and responds promptly to messages sent via airbnb, SMS or phone. We had a minor issue with the safe witch was solved quickly.
If I was coming back with family I would choose to stay here again.
Cons: Not really. I am being picky for the sake of putting one down. The mattress in the second room is somewhat soft. If you have sensitive back and neck (my mother has spondylitis) it may not give you the best support. While she didn't sing praises of the bed, admittedly she did not develop any pains sleeping for a week on it. So as I said, I am hunting for something to be critical about.
Very convenient location, Groceries and pharmacy are right in front of the building. Surrounded by excellent restaurants.
Tip: You may be able to cut across to the main street via the parking lot. Putting you smack in the middle of restaurants in 30 sec. No walking under the sun. I was able to do this in the neighbouring building, think it will work even in this one.
Tiramisu (30 sec via parking lot or 2-4 minutes on the street): Loved the classical Tiramisu and 'bitter' Italian drink. Enjoy!
Le serve: less than 5 min. Can walk to even in peak summer sun. Good food and environment. Excellent lentil salad, beet root salad, pasta and more
Mizu: Nice Japanese setup. 5 min walk. Doable in peak summer sun and brain frying temperatures. Good food. Loved Cold soba and vegetable juice cocktails (many options)
Leila: nice Arabic food. Next to Mizu. Liked the spicy hummus and Rose Sheehan (Sheehan was foul second day! But Devine, absolutely Devine first time round. Must have been unclean pipes?)
(but you can order in from a better place... forget name. Google)
Dubai Mall: 1.5 Km. Feels much less. 10 min walk. Very doable in peak summer in the evenings (5 pm +) and mornings (before 9 am)
Cab to mall 12 Dirhams
crap loads of stuff at the mall.
You get the pic... well located.
This is wierd. I had written a long detailed review... that seems to have vanished and AirBnB wants me to do it again! (like it keeps asking me for verification even though I have 'successfuly' loaded it a dozen time. Crap software.)
Short review this time -
flat as in picture. No suprise
Excellent location. Front of grocery and pharma. Close enough to restaurants that you can walk in peak summer heat to them.
10 min walk to mall. Taxi easily available as it is in front of Ramada Hotel (no issue of trafic, noise or anything negative due to the hotel).
3 nice pools - large dunking pool where you can play hippo hippo. For the more serious there is the lap pool and a toddlers pool which is gated and nice.
Indoor play area for kids with a few nick and knack. Out door play area doesnt have any swings or slides.
If I remember correct there is a pool and TT table in front of the kids play area.
Tiramisu cafe - excellent tiramisu and bitter Bianco :) also serves breakfast. 30 sec walk and free delivery to flat no minimum order amount.
Mizu - Japenese setup. I liked the food. Vege juices for the health conscious
Leila - Lebanese. Rose sheesha is great. As is spicy humus. Food is quite good but we found a better place that delivered. (cant remember name)
lots more under 5 min walk.
In short great location
main room - average. No issue with mattress. Reasonable support.
Second room - mattress is soft. My mother has spondilytus (spelling?). She wasn't a fan of the bed, but had no pains in a week of stay.
Kids plate, nice section of knives. All utensils you'll need for a short stay.
Host is very easy to acess and responds to email, sms fairly quick. We had a minor issue with the safe which was adressed immediately.
If I had to return back with family, I'd stay here in a heart beat.
Very nice apartment, and a great host. I called her several times during my stay to ask about parking, checkout, etc. She was always happy to help when possible. Thank you, khadija

About the Host, Khadija
My family and I moved here to Dubai in 2008 from Vancouver, Canada and have come to love Dubai with all the 'buzz' that it has to offer. It truly is a place where many cultures meet and that is one of the things that makes it so exciting for us to stay here.
