  • Vincent's restaurant

Without question the best food, ambience and service in Candidasa. Also jazz nights on a Thursday
    Jalan Raya Candidasa Bali
  • Tenganan Aga Village and trekking

3 kms from the villa, and touristy, but it does give you a sense of how the ancient Aga people once lived. Easy treks through breathtaking rice paddy and hill scenery start here - not to be missed.
  • Tirtagangga Water Palace

A beautiful (really gorgeous!) drive from the villa and a huge, very clean, freshwater rock pool at the Water Palace - a very worthwhile trip (take your cozzie).
  • Sidemen

Some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole of Bali - detour back this way after a visit to the Tirtagangga Water Palace.
  • Mt Agung

If you hit it right (with no cloud at the top) the views of the breaking dawn are spectacular. So is the climb - not for the unfit. You have to use a guide and you need to start at 2 or 3am.

  • Besakih Temple

A must-see although dont expect to enjoy it in solitude - lots of tourists!
