Valley and garden views

Guests say the views are lovely.
This cozy cabin in the woods offers a romantic ambiance or great family fun. Conveniently located, it is less than a mile to Lake Logan, a Brewery, and Millstone BBQ. 11 miles to Hocking Hills State Park, and 5 to Zip-lining. 2 miles to antique shopping, canoe rentals, Walmart, and many other attractions. It is perfect for those who appreciate the sights/sounds of nature, but still want the convenience of being close to civilization. #countryconvience. All are welcome no matter our differences!!

The space
My cabin was built in the 60's and shows incredible craftsmanship as it was built by hand. It is one of the premiere cabins in the area and was lived in for many years by the original owner. It is a hidden gem as it is close to so many attractions, restaurants, and access to ST RT 33, yet is surrounded by a beautiful canopy. You really get the feel of staying in the woods but with many familiar comforts found nearby when desired. The hot tub can seat up to six people and there is plenty of parking. There also is a fire pit and BBQ cooker if you want to grill out and enjoy the fresh air.

Guest access
You will have access to the 1.65 acres and all parts of the cabin except for the circular staircase, downstairs basement, and patio behind the house. You can use the fire pit, grill, hot tub, swing and take in the natural surroundings. You will find a lot of games, blue-ray discs, cable and two flat screen tvs at your disposal.

Other things to note
You will absolutely love it here. Peaceful yet convenient. You really can't beat the location as it is surrounded by by eateries, "watering holes", adventure activities, fishing, hiking, etc.

Neighborhood highlights

My cabin is less than one mile from Lake Logan where you can find a lot of fishing decks around the lake and a beach! It is approximately ten miles of the main sites in the area including Old Man's Caves, Ash Cave, Conkles Hollow and Rock House. About two miles away you can find a canoe livery, Hocking River, and lots of antique shopping. Less than a mile away you will find a lot of great restaurants and a brewery, Walmart, and even a vineyard. If you own your own bikes, the area is great for biking around the lake and hills and can give you a great workout with a lot of fresh air!

Hi everyone! Que Tal?! Sawadii Krub! My name is Brent and I was raised in the Hocking Hills area. After graduating from OU with my bachelor's degree, I completed my masters degree from SMU in Dallas, Texas. I continue to live a lifetime of adventures that have taken me all over the world. (28 countries and counting!) I am currently residing and working in Bangkok, Thailand so please understand if there is a delay in getting back to you. There is a 12 hour time difference here to there. My sister and father are still in the Hocking Hills area and will be my "go to" for helping you with anything you may need. I studied music and am a teacher at a big international school in Thailand. I LOVE playing tennis and of course movies, concerts, breweries and traveling. I try to live life to the fullest. I also grew up riding and showing horses in competition through 4-H, Quarter horse circuit and open shows. I'm a farm boy at heart but also love the big cities. I will work on updating parts of the cabin in low season. I have some ideas in mind but will welcome suggestions as well! It will be an absolute pleasure to have you stay at the cabin and knowing that you have read this much and have booked my cabin! :)
