We had an amazing experience at Jennifer's home. Not only was her place well above our expectations but it was easy to get to and a prime location. The house was very clean and comfortable and we would highly recommend this home for people wanting to visit Colorado.
We had a really enjoyable stay at Jennifer's house. The place was comfortable, clean and decorated perfectly to our taste. It was a pleasure to spend time in this relaxing house and we really relaxed during our stay. Our sons loved the (very hot ......but that added to the fun?!) cinema room. There were 2 bathrooms which was great and privacy was not an issue as the downstairs bathroom was completely private. The upstairs glass walled walk in shower was wonderful too. Jennifer responded instantly to all questions.
Right form the start Jennifer was wonderful to work with. She went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome to the area and sent us lists of the best local resources we needed to make our stay comfortable. The accommodations are very clean, comfortable and there is plenty of room. Her place is central to pretty much everything but if you need help finding something you can't find, just ask Jennifer and she'll help you. Thank you again Jennifer for a wonderful experience!!
Jennifer was great to work with and very accommodating. There was one small issue with the downstairs bathroom, and she responded to our call quickly and had the problem resolved just as soon as she could. The townhouse is very conveniently located to campus and Pearl Street, making it an easy commute for us. We enjoyed staying here during our two weeks in Boulder.
Our stay at Jennifer's condo was very nice. It's a nice layout and has nice modern amenities. The beds are both very comfortable and the upstairs bathroom was nice and clean. It's about a 10 minute drive to Pearl Street and 20 minute drive to most of the hiking around the Flatirons.
Really the only thing to note is that the unit itself does not have central air for cooling. There is a window unit in each bedroom. This wasn't a deal breaker as it wasn't very hot during our stay and the window units were perfectly fine for the bedrooms.
Overall it was a very nice stay and a good location close to many things in Boulder.
Where do I begin?? Unit had not been cleaned. Filthy everything!!!! Owner did issue credit for two days and had unit cleaned. Too little, too late. Still found dirty dishes....too much and not enough space to elaborate.
This unit is not safe if you have little ones. Attic area converted to extra room does not have railing. Pictures are deceiving.
Have to do laundry and dishes before leaving. From our experience I highly doubt that happens. Owner did not even have dishwasher soap....
A very uncomfortable stay to say the least. Owner did offer us refund if we wanted to leave but as I'm sure she was aware there was no lodging available. Iron Man weekend
I would like to rate this as a negative star but it is not an option so I will have to give it one star.
About the Host, Jennifer
I have been living in Boulder since 1991. I attended CU, snowboarded as much as possible and could not tear myself away from this gorgeous place. I run a top-producing real estate business, still snowboard, practice yoga, crossfit, see music as much as possible and MOSTLY play with my son and his dad.
When we are not working, we love to travel. We spend time in Sayulita, Turks and Caicos, Spirit Lake Iowa where we have a cabin that has been in my family for 5 generations, Minnesota and Colorado. Our own backyard (colorado) is not to be ignored. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.
I love being a host. I've met so many interesting people and seen how the sharing community is a wonderful thing. When people realize that we are opening our home, to them, its awesome to witness the connections that we all make. I think our guests enjoy the "local's version" of staying somewhere, as well.
Airbnb is asking me if I have a life (website hidden), I say The Golden Rule.
