Jennifer was great to work with and very accommodating. There was one small issue with the downstairs bathroom, and she responded to our call quickly and had the problem resolved just as soon as she could. The townhouse is very conveniently located to campus and Pearl Street, making it an easy commute for us. We enjoyed staying here during our two weeks in Boulder.
Our stay at Jennifer's condo was very nice. It's a nice layout and has nice modern amenities. The beds are both very comfortable and the upstairs bathroom was nice and clean. It's about a 10 minute drive to Pearl Street and 20 minute drive to most of the hiking around the Flatirons.
Really the only thing to note is that the unit itself does not have central air for cooling. There is a window unit in each bedroom. This wasn't a deal breaker as it wasn't very hot during our stay and the window units were perfectly fine for the bedrooms.
Overall it was a very nice stay and a good location close to many things in Boulder.
Where do I begin?? Unit had not been cleaned. Filthy everything!!!! Owner did issue credit for two days and had unit cleaned. Too little, too late. Still found dirty dishes....too much and not enough space to elaborate.
This unit is not safe if you have little ones. Attic area converted to extra room does not have railing. Pictures are deceiving.
Have to do laundry and dishes before leaving. From our experience I highly doubt that happens. Owner did not even have dishwasher soap....
A very uncomfortable stay to say the least. Owner did offer us refund if we wanted to leave but as I'm sure she was aware there was no lodging available. Iron Man weekend
I would like to rate this as a negative star but it is not an option so I will have to give it one star.
it was great! lovely town home with great decor to hang out and come home to. location was great - very close to many hiking locations and down town Boulder
The condo was comfortable, spacious and very quiet. Had a nice residential vibe. Convenient to lots of things. Would be great for a famy with kids as there's a fun TV/game loft on the third floor. Modern furnishings a plus for us.
Jennifer's place was terrific! We enjoyed the space and loved the locale. We could walk to everything, shops, restaurants, hiking trails. We were able to cook our meals in a well equipped kitchen. Jennifer got us in with short notice and was very responsive in getting back to us about any issues like directions! We appreciated her hospitality.
About the Host, Jennifer
I have been living in Boulder since 1991. I attended CU, snowboarded as much as possible and could not tear myself away from this gorgeous place. I run a top-producing real estate business, still snowboard, practice yoga, crossfit, see music as much as possible and MOSTLY play with my son and his dad.
When we are not working, we love to travel. We spend time in Sayulita, Turks and Caicos, Spirit Lake Iowa where we have a cabin that has been in my family for 5 generations, Minnesota and Colorado. Our own backyard (colorado) is not to be ignored. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.
I love being a host. I've met so many interesting people and seen how the sharing community is a wonderful thing. When people realize that we are opening our home, to them, its awesome to witness the connections that we all make. I think our guests enjoy the "local's version" of staying somewhere, as well.
