Charming 1 bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood
You will enjoy your stay in San Francisco in this cozy, beautiful apartment. This fully furnished apartment will comfortably sleep three people. There is a luxurious queen-size bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the living room which folds down to make a second bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, stove, oven, granite counters, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, cooking and eating utensils. You'll find a selection of teas and coffee, as well as some basic condiments, all complimentary. Clean sheets and towels are supplied. There is a coin-op laundry one block away if you need to do laundry.
There is a garden out the back where you can sit out on a lovely day.
We are conveniently located two blocks from Golden Gate Park, and it's main attractions (Calif. Academy of Sciences, DeYoung Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Conservatory of Flowers) are within walking distance. USF is two minutes walk away. Within 15 minutes walking is the Haight-Ashbury district and UCSF to the south, the Presidio, Geary and Clement St. business corridors to the north. Just down the street is Rossi Recreation Center, with pool, tennis courts, and playground. This is a very safe neighborhood to walk around.
We are located right along a bus line that will take you downtown to the Union Square area, financial district and Embarcadero. Street parking is plentiful, but there are restrictions during the day. Contact me if you need a visitors parking permit (there is an additional fee of $60 for the permit).

This was a terrific rental! Phil was a great host who went out of his way to make us comfortable. He left a booklet of his local recommendations that were all incredible. The location is quiet and convenient. The apt was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
My stay at Phil's apartment was fantastic! It's located in a quiet & safe neighborhood in the SF, away from the hustle & bustle of downtown. It's convienently located near several options of bus lines. The apartment is clean, cute & well equipped. Phil was a great & understanding host. I look forward to staying at his place again. Thank you for a great stay! :)
This was my first visit to San Francisco and California. Phil was a great host and the apartment was lovely and in a perfect location! We checked out a lot of the things on Phil's recommended list, and everything was superb!
I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to explore San Francisco for the first time. It was easy to get around with buses and cable cars, and with walking distance to Haight/Ashbury and the Golden Gate Park.
The apartment itself has everything you need for a perfect holiday in San Francisco! Thank you Phil for having us! We had a great time!
We had a great stay in Phil's apartment. It was very well situated in the city close to a children's park and Golden Gate Park which has a lot of attractions within it. Phil was friendly and helpful and the apartment was very comfortable with all the facilities we required during our stay. We would be happy to stay there again if we return to SF.
I stayed in this apartment for the month of November and was very pleased with the experience. For my needs the apartment was ideal. The apartment is as advertised. Phil Zakhour was a pleasure to work with. I would stay here again.
The apartment is well stocked and nicely set up. The queen size bed in the bedroom is comfortable. There is plenty of hot water. The kitchen/living area very functional. I have no complaints about the apartment. The location - walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Arguello Market and the 31 and 38 bus.
But, a few things to mention for those who are not use to San Francisco apartments. There is lots of street noise. No air conditioning which is common in San Francisco. No central heat. There are two heaters, one in each room, built in at the floor boards. They provide adequate heat. Their is a coin operated laundry a short distance. There is no parking.
The apartment was perfect, spacious, clean, and quiet with all the amenities. The location was very convenient as this was the area we had to be for work but we found that it was very easy to take buses to other areas: Mission, Ocean Beach, etc. There's lots of great options for food all within walking distance. Phil provided many great recommendations in his visitors guidebook that we took advantage of. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back!
Cannot wait to go back! This will be our spot to stay each and every time we travel to SF. It was darling, convenient, quiet. Easy access to all things but just enough off the beaten path for a quiet escape. Large enough for two adults and a teenager with no problems! Super comfortable bed. Phil was terrific and totally accessible, if needed.
My husband and I spent 5 days here in the middle of October along with our miniature Dachshund. Phil said ours was the first pet in his place and I hoped he didn't regret the choice to open up his home to our furry friends
It was also our first experience with Airbnb and we're so pleased.
Phil is such caring guy - it was very nice and easy to communicate with him.
The place is adorable and cozy. The location could not be beat - it was a wonderful advantage to be so close to Golden Gate Park. We were able to dedicate some good time for walking around and visiting the gardens and museums. Also there were plenty of small cafes and restaurants within walking distance (especially recommend Velo Rouge cafe for breakfast).
We had a car for the whole stay - parking was fine. You do have to move it (particularly if you do not get the permit), but we didn't worry about it. We were gone by the time we had to move the car, or there were other streets (or other sides of the same street). And the directional signs were very clear and understandable.
We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will visit sometime again soon.

First time in SF and first experience with AirBNB. Both turned out good. Phil's place is nice and clean, around the corner from the park and has an awesome backyard garden. Parking can be a challenge, but nothing unmanageable. Phil is helpful and responsive. Would stay again.
Wonderful experience! Great accommodations!. Phil provided everything we expected and more! This was our first stay at an Airbnb listing. We will definitely go to Airbnb first for our future traveling plans.
