The space is fresh and inviting with an open floor plan and high ceilings. There’s a comfortable living room area, a bright kitchen with ample counter space, a dining area just inside from a beautiful lanai, a bright and spacious full bath, and a loft bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed. And of course, you are provided with everything you need, making it easy to take advantage of all the spectacular wonders of the North Shore, which are all within minutes of our great place.

The Bamboo Bungalow has nearly every amenity for you. We want your experience here to be easy, efficient, and fun. From this condo, you can maximize your time on Kauai.

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go (4 burner stove w/ oven, microwave, lg. fridge w/ freezer, coffee maker, blender quality cookware, etc.). All you need to enjoy the local flavors of the island is great local produce from one of the many farmers' markets, and you will be all set! We even provide you with basic cooking staples such as oils and seasonings to mix things up and enjoy your home cooking.

The bedroom loft features a comfortable King-sized bed. For climate control, there is a mini-split air conditioner, or if you enjoy fresh air, there is a skylight above the bed that can be opened if you wish, along with a quiet ceiling fan above the bed.

The condo is further outfitted with a large bathroom, a dining table that seats four, a comfortable sleeper sofa (queen), and an HD Roku TV with complimentary streaming Netflix.

Tastefully decorated, this spacious, upper-story condo is bright and airy, and also features a large lanai. Keep in mind that it is a corner unit, so, along with many lovely windows, the apartment also enjoys excellent light and sun, with no other units looking into your windows. The lanai is a great place to enjoy a sunny morning while listening to the birds, or a shady afternoon after a day at the beach. In the deck box on the lanai, you will also find that we provide beach equipment, including beach chairs, boogie boards, a large sun umbrella, and a cooler.

Your view looks out over a grassy yard and out towards Java Plum trees lining the “Queen’s Carriage path” (Queen Emma). This path leads to Wyllie’s beach (at the far west end of Anini) with the Prince Golf course beyond. Anini Beach is known for excellent snorkeling inside its protective barrier reef. Anini has the longest barrier reef in the state of Hawaii! This outer reef breaks all the waves, leaving calm and shallow water inside (check conditions for currents!).

This charming condo borders the Prince golf course off the back balcony (with the Anini Beach path and Java Plum trees between the golf course and a large grassy lawn below the condo). And just out the front door and below the entrance balcony is the pool, where you can conveniently take a dip whenever you feel like it.

From Queen Emma’s Carriage Path, you can turn left towards Wyllie (Anini) Beach or go right, towards the Princeville Shopping Center, and be at either destination within 15 minutes on foot. Within an enjoyable walk in one direction, you can access a grocery store, multiple cafés, restaurants, shops, a post office, yoga studios, banks, and ATM’s as well as the local bus line. If you go the other direction, a 15-minute walk down the path in front of the condo will lead you to Wyllie Beach (the west end of Anini Beach), offering excellent snorkeling and swimming (check current conditions!).

Beautiful Hanalei Bay is only 10 10-minute drive by car. Hanalei is a great place to walk, swim, boogie board, or enjoy surfing from beginner to advanced abilities.

The Paniolo Condominium complex is situated in Princeville, a tranquil resort community featuring numerous walking trails with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and ocean. Princeville is located on a bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay, offering spectacular views of the bay and the famous “Bali Hai” ridge, which gained fame from the movie South Pacific.

The condo is ideally located for those who prefer not to drive, offering a great location to enjoy the area on foot, with plenty to see and do.

For safety reasons and in consideration of residents and other guests in the condo complex, we do not accept children under the age of 7.

Accessibility & Safety Advisory:
Please note that access to the unit requires climbing a full flight of stairs. Inside, the bedroom is located in a lofted area accessible via a steep, open-riser staircase, which may be challenging for some guests. There is also a step-down between the living and dining areas, which may present a tripping hazard.

Due to these features, the space may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations, those at increased risk of falling, and families with young children.

Princeville is an amazingly convenient and beautiful community on the North Shore. Here's why you'll love it:

From the condo location it is easy to walk to the beach or the grocery store and the views in either direction are spectacular, with ocean one direction and mountains and waterfalls the other! In fact there is a network of fantastic walking and running trails all over Princeville, making it likely the safest and easiest of locations of the island to walk or take a run. Another bonus is that many of the nearby golf courses are open for pedestrian exploration after 5pm, which is beyond excellent for sunset strolls.

The coastline below Princeville provides some of the most pristine, clear water on the North Shore due to the lack of rivers and fresh water runoff. Because of this, Princeville has some amazing exploring to enjoy below its bluffs (surf conditions permitting!!). The clear water provides some of the very best turtle viewing, snorkeling, pristine coves and nook-and-cranny gems on the North Shore. Some of these places are hard to find, so ask me and I'll be happy to guide you along. I also have a customized map I provide in the condo. I love Princeville and know you will too!

**As an added note, Princeville is the BEST place to be in the event of a storm! It is no secret that Kauai, with all of its beauty can also be temperamental, with no lack of its share of rainfall and storms. It is always good to be prepared and Princeville is one of the best places to stay on the North Shore in the event of a storm. Princeville is high and dry, safe from Tsunami and floods and is optimally located near to food shopping and emergency services. Roads leading to and from Princeville rarely get affected in storms so getting to and from the airport will not be a problem even if Kauai flexes her muscles during your stay.

I was born near Tunnels Beach and have always considered the North Shore of Kauai “home”. However, adventures beyond the islands, eventually brought me to the mainland and abroad. I went to school in Santa Cruz California and even got interested in colder climates for a while. Between travels abroad, I worked as an entrepreneur and in various outdoor industries for the better part of a decade, living in amazingly scenic, rural towns. One of my favorite of those towns was Jackson Hole Wyoming, where I lived for several years before moving back to Kauai. It took searching the world to ultimately realize, there’s no place like home. I truly enjoy passing on the love and reverence I have of my island home to my guests. I offer my local knowledge and recommendations in addition to providing exceptional quality accommodation and service. I want to ensure that my guests have as much fun and as little worries as possible on their visits to Kauai! I love offering conscientious travelers an amazing home while they explore the Garden Island, and both my condos are thoughtfully equipped, well located and always kept clean and attended to with lots of love.
