ESCAPE THE CITY AND IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE SIMPLE PLEASURES OF THIS OCEANFRONT CABIN WITH CHARACTER.
Lots of charm in this sweet cozy cabin nestled between the woods and the water. Get reconnected with nature, exploring the miles of soft sand stone shoreline and the tide pools or walking the country roads.
Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, and wake up to the sunrise over the straight of Georgia, with Mount Baker Views. Whether it’s reading a book by the fire, soaking up the sun or enjoying a game of bacci ball on the huge lawn, the ocean is right there. Napping in the hammock is also a favorite past time.
The cabin's interior has lovingly evolved over time, with an eclectic mix ensuring a mood of an era gone by. There's an open floor plan for living, dining and cooking. The master bedroom (queen) has double doors to a small deck as well as a lovely window seat. The loft sleeps 2-4, perfect for guests or kids, and there's a double pull-out sofa in the living room. The Cabin can sleep 8 (but more comfortably, 2-4).
A large oceanfront deck spans the width of the cabin. Dine outdoors on a large picnic table logged from the property that seats 12. Indoor dining seats 4-6.

Amazing cabin and setting. Highly recommended for a relaxing, cozy getaway in nature.
It was my first time to Galiano Island and everything about this island is mystical.
Two Acre Wood was beyond my greatest expectations. The space was eclectic and had great energy. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the ocean was just perfect.
It was just great and would recommend it to anyone interested in a relaxing and beautiful get away!
We had a wonderful stay at Two Acre Wood. The view over the ocean was spectacular and the cabin was incredibly cozy. With so many windows it made us feel like we were right on the ocean. My favourite part was being able to walk just steps right down to the water and sit watching and listening to the waves. We will definitely be back.
Lovely setting and very accomodating host. We had a wonderful time waltching the ocean from our beautiful cabin.
Thank you soo much,
We had a great time at Two Aker Wood. It's very relaxing to be that close to the sea and the cabin had everything we needed. We will definitely come back.
Glorious setting on the coast, cozy/well appointed cottage. Perfect stay. Thank you.
Deb and I went to Two Acre Wood to celebrate out 25th wedding anniversary. We had an excellent experience. The cabin and its setting on the water looking back at the Lower Mainland was spectacular. We would go back again next year..
Other must stops include the Hummingbird pub, Bodega North Woodworks, Pizza at the Galiano Spa.
Nothing beats waterfront! The cottage was tastefully and thoughtfully decorated - it felt comfortable and cozy. Plenty of lighting in the cottage and bug-screens on the windows were much appreciated. Access to the rock beach was easy. Conveniently located - less than 5 minutes to the Corner Store, the Daystar Market and Solomon Rose Gallery for the best specialty coffees on the island. It is also less than 10 minutes to a great little golf course at the Galiano Golf and Country Club. One thing to beware of is the narrow one-way driveway can be challenging.
This property is beautiful - sitting on the deck looking across the water at Vancouver, walking along the (flat rock) beach, the large yard which our dog had the run of -- it was all so beautiful and restful. The cabin was lovely, rustic - loved cooking on the old Frigidaire stove - there was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. The bathroom was a lovely surprise -- beautifully done, and the bathtub was to die for (and most welcome after days spent hiking and beachcombing). We had never visited Galiano Island before and we loved it. It has so much to offer, and the people, whether they were Islanders or visitors like us, were unfailingly friendly (I've never had so many people stop to say hello to our little dog). We would definitely return to Galiano and to this cabin.
We absolutely loved the cottage! Charming, well equipped and the perfect locale right on the ocean. We had warm sunshine for lounging on the deck and clear nights for laying on the rocks to star gaze. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Vancouver. We will definitely go back for a cozy rainy weekend where we can take advantage of the fireplace!
