Also alles in allem eine Runde Sache.
A near perfect stay in an Idyllic part of Salzburg.
Barbara was very communicative prior to my arrival and frequently inquired on my well-being. The house is easily accessible by public bus or about a 30 minute walk from the centre,
Her place also oozes rustic charm, having been pretty much the same since its construction in 1902 and boasts a lovely garden with flowers, chicken and rabbits etc. Barbara also provided me with a simple breakfast every morning, something I truly appreciated.
A lovely neighborhood on #6 bus line directly to Salzburg Zentrum. Apartment is in a basement with access through an attractive garden leading to an external access door. Must share small bathroom with 2 other guestrooms. Cramped breakfast service area located in a narrow hallway between rooms and exit. Our room was ridiculously small for 2 people...at best the space might work for a single bed, or better yet, convert it into a small dining space for all to use. Very little room for luggage in our room. Small fridge at the foot of the bed on the floor unnecessary and took up usable floor space and access to bed.
Barbara was very quick to respond to all my questions through email prior to the booking, which was very reassuring. The b&b is one of three rooms, with a shared bathroom with the other guests. The facilities were all very clean. We got our own little fridge and towels were provided (so was breakfast.) The location was a 2 minute walk from a bus stop that went through town and also a 10 minute walk away from the mountains so my boyfriend and I went for a hike one day. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Barbara, but her husband was very friendly and keen to help us out. Definitely recommend this place. Only one disadvantage- the room was abit small for two people, simply because we had two large suitcases.

About the Host, Barbara
I am married and have 4 children. I grew up in my fathers hotel . Therefore interesting people from different countries and cultures with their stories, the beauty of art and of the little things and the breathtaking nature are fascinating me. My house and garden are reflecting this. And I love gardening- or changing plants...so talk to me, .
